8 Impressive New Photos of Hawkeye Reveal New & Familiar Characters
Soon we will be getting Marvel’s final series of the year with Hawkeye on Disney+. The series will navigate around the character of Hawkeye while at the same time introducing a new character who might be taking over the narrative of Hawkeye in the MCU as Kate Bishop. One of the most awesome things about this series has to be the fact that it will be set in Christmastime and it will be inspired by Matt Fraction and David Aja’s run of the Hawkeye comics. A lot of details regarding the series have been kept under wraps and this includes the details regarding the villain in the series. Disney has just released a few more details for their upcoming series through the new photos of Hawkeye and some other new characters appearing in the show.
Photos From Hawkeye
This photo gives us a proper look at Jack Duquesne, who is also known as the Swordsmen from the comics, as played by Tony Dalton. Standing next to him is Vera Farmiga in the role of Eleanor Bishop who will be the mother of Kate Bishop.
This photo shows Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop carrying a backpack as she looks over to her shoulder, which might mean that she is about to do something suspicious. The actress is already getting lauded with praise for her take on the role of the character.
Another photo shows Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton walking on the streets of New York while talking on the phone and he has a bandage on his forehead. This bandage might mean that this scene might take place after Clint has sent his kids to his wife after watching Rogers: The Musical the previous night.
Here, Clint Barton could be seen with his bow and arrow striking a position that we have seen him do various times before probably after or before aiming an arrow at someone. The van behind him belongs to Trust A Bro Moving Company and this same van was seen in the car chase scene we have gotten to see in the trailers for the series. Another important detail about this photo is the fact that we cannot see the bandage on his forehead anymore.
Here Kate Bishop can be seen in the same clothes as she was seen in the previous one and this might mean that this could be connected to that scene. Based on the backdrop of this shot there is a chance that this scene might be taking place in New York’s Central Park.
Another still shows Alaqua Cox as Maya Loper wearing the same costume that she was seen wearing as she fought with Hawkeye in one of the other teasers. This could actually mean that this moment might be in connection to that scene.
This image is somewhat similar to what fans have been seeing in the various other promos and trailers too and it is actually quite similar to the cover art for the comics that this narrative will be based upon. The shot is an absolutely awesome mix of the relationship between the two characters of Clint Barton and Kate Bishop and at the same time, the Christmas theme is quite apparent in the background.
While not much is yet known about the prime antagonist of the series but this shot gives us an idea that the series will also explore the narrative from the bit of the perspective of Maya Lopez. She will be seen in her own spinoff series Echo and this shot is indicative of the fact. This character has the ability to mimic the fighting patterns of her opponents, which was something we saw with Taskmaster in Black Widow. Alaqua Cox is actually a Latina martial artist and it would be absolutely awesome to see her fight sequences with Hawkeye.
Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton, Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Fra Fee as Kazi, Vera Farmiga as Eleanor Bishop, Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez, and Brian d’Arcy James in an undisclosed role. The first two episodes arrive on November 24.
We’ve also got several other MCU shows for Disney Plus including Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, Ironheart, I am Groot, Armor Wars, Echo, Wakanda, Loki season 2, What If…? Season 2, Agatha House of Harkness, Werewolf by Night, and Okoye.
