Every New Actor and Everyone Who Returned in What If Episode 6

The latest episode of What If…? gave us a lot of characters similar to a few of the other episodes in Marvel Cinematic Universe. The episode ended up being one of the most exciting events as it was a crossover between two characters we would have never seen in the movie. The episode majorly focused on the Killmonger whom we had last seen face his demise in Black Panther. This allowed for the episode to give us a glance at some of the major events in MCU would have been if the characters were in a different circumstance. This included some of the most amazing overlapping MCU storylines and settings ranging over a wide variety of MCU movies. Here’s a look at every new voice actor, and everyone who returned in What If Episode 6:

Who returned in What If Episode 6

The Watcher

Similar to every other episode of What If…?, Jeffrey Wright returned to voice the character of the Watcher in the episode. Though this time there was a lot less involvement by him in the plot compared to the previous episodes.

Killmonger

Michael B. Jordan returned to reprise the character whose last portrayal in the movie made it one of the most interesting villains in the MCU. The character even follows a somewhat similar arc to the movie and we would love to see more of him.

Queen Ramonda

Angela Bassett reprised her role in the episode of Queen Ramonda. She was last seen in the role in Avengers: Endgame. This time around we got to see a lot more of her in action as she fights in the last battle of the episode.

Black Panther

The late great Chadwick Boseman returns to voice the character he immortalized with his portrayal in the movie. He has voiced all the T’Challa and Black Panther appearances so far in the series and that fans could not have enough of him filling us with his incredible performance in the role. His voice performance was recorded way before his untimely passing in August 2020. Let’s just hope we continue to see more of him in the rest of the episodes.

Okoye

Who returned in What If Episode 6

We got to hear Danai Gurira reprising her role as the fan-favorite Okoye even though this time she was seen next to the much empowering role of Queen Ramonda. We can expect to see a lot more of her in the upcoming sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and a spinoff series revolving around her character.

Ulysses Klaue

Andy Serkis makes his return to the character of Ulysses Klaue that was an essential part of the MCU. He was last seen in Black Panther and his arc in the episode follows a somewhat similar to what we had seen in the movie.

James Rhodes

James Rhodes is again voiced by Don Cheadle and makes a considerable role even though he is no longer the best friend as that position is now taken by Killmonger. This character ends up facing a sad demise which Stark even tries to avenge.

T’Chaka

John Cani returns to voice the character of T’Chaka. He was last seen in a previous episode of the animated series where he welcomes a different version of T’Challa back into Wakanda.

New Actors in What If…? Episode 6

Tony Stark

Mike Wingert makes a nice impact in the absence of Robert Downey Jr. in voicing the role of Tony Stark. He also voiced the character in the previous appearances of Iron Man in the animated series.

Obadiah Stane

Even though the actors of some of the major villains have returned to reprise their characters in the series, Jeff Bridges didn’t follow the same path. The character of Obadiah Stane was voiced by Kiff Vandenheuvael who seems to have had a lot of experience in voicing characters in the superhero world before.

Pepper Potts

Who returned in What If Episode 6

Pepper Potts was voiced by Beth Hoyt instead of Gwyneth Paltrow. The latter doesn’t seem to be returning to any future MCU projects anytime soon.

General Ross

General Ross is voiced by Mike McGill in the episode. He also did the voice work for the character in the third episode of the series. This return for the character is quite exciting considering the character was last seen in live-action in Black Widow.

Shuri

The voice of Shuri was done by Ozioma Akagha instead of Letitia Wright. The latter will be portraying the role in live-action pretty soon as she might end up taking the mantle of Black Panther.
