Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds and Wolverine actor, Hugh Jackman’s friendly feud is something that has entertained the fans for a long time now. Deadpool and Wolverine are always at it, be it on screen, or in real life. It all began when Reynolds met Jackman on the set of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. At that time, Reynolds was married to Scarlet Johansson. So Jackman joked about him being on his best behavior. And the story began from here. But recently, Reynolds has actually talked about the factor that fuels this feud with Hugh Jackman. The reason is actually shocking. Take a look:

One such example of this feud was seen when Reynolds made his latest appearance as Marvel’s Merc with a Mouth. He was accompanied by MCU’s Korg to promote his new film Free Guy. So naturally, Jackman commented how Deadpool was able to resist saying his name. Fast forward to a recent appearance on the SmartLess podcast, Reynolds shared something personal.
While talking to hosts Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett, he was asked about the origins of his feud with Hugh Jackman. He replied:
“You know Hugh Jackman is…I really shouldn’t say this, but he… he makes kindness look like murder. I mean he really is just the nicest guy you’d ever meet. And it drives me nuts sometimes… He really is the real deal. I wanna understand that to some degree, so we sometimes hate and lash out at the things we cannot understand. So I tend to hate and lash out at Hugh, and he reciprocates of course because he’s nothing if not a sportsman. And that’s kind of it. But in reality, he’s like my life sherpa. He’s one of the best guys I know.”
So Reynolds actually thinks that Jackman is the nicest guy alive, which drives him crazy. The world is actually waiting to see Reynolds and Jackman reprise their roles as Deadpool and Wolverine alongside each other. Come to think about it, Reynolds previously tweeted that before Disney bought Fox, Deadpool 3 was going to be a road trip between Wade Wilson and Logan.
