The Flash Set Photos Show Wayne Manor Surrounded By Smoke

Zack Snyder’s Justice League gave a solid opening to Barry Allen. Honestly, it was a delight to watch him reverse time. He was way different from the 2017 iteration where he was just taking baby steps and didn’t really evolve. Still, since that film is canon, Barry Allen will continue his story from the theatrical cut of Justice League. The Good news for us is that the principal photography for The Flash (2022) is officially underway. After several delays and directorial changes, Andy Muschietti has taken charge of the film. In fact, the Flash set photos have already hit the internet.

The Flash (2022) will focus on Barry dealing with his past as he had to witness the death of his mom when he was a kid. It will also shed light on time travel, and Multiverses. But the primary arc will focus on Barry coming to terms with his past and making his own future. For that, Barry will take us through a different kind of Flashpoint event. Apparently, this one is going to involve different Earths, including Earth-89 of Michael Keaton’s Batman.

The Wrap is reporting that Keaton’s talent agency, ICM Partners, has confirmed the actor will appear in The Flash movie. No other details about his role were confirmed, like how much of the film he’ll be in or even whether he’ll suit up as Batman or only appear as Bruce Wayne. Not much is known of it. But Peterborough Today revealed a new look at Keaton’s Wayne Manor from The Flash. It is set at the Burghley House in the UK. The photos show clouds of smoke surrounding the house, which was created by smoke machines placed around the premises.

Keaton’s Bruce Wayne will be playing an important role in The Flash (2022). Not much is known of the plot as of now. The purpose of this smoke is unclear; it could be used to represent a heavy fog on the lawn or could be an indication of an action sequence at the estate.

Another tweet focusing on the smoke surrounding the manor is below:

It has been confirmed that Zack Snyder’s Justice League is not related to the arc whatsoever. Hence, Barry Allen is getting a major change. Still, it is good to know that Ben Affleck‘s Batman is returning in the film. On top of that, we’re also going to witness the debut of Supergirl (Sasha Calle) in the film.

In Muschietti’s The Flash announcement, the lightning color was changed to yellow along with the tease of a suit change. This points towards a notable evolution. In the comics, the blue light represents that Barry has stepped into the Speed Force. So the yellow light can have a totally different meaning altogether, and newly invented as well. The Speed Force is barely scathed in the DCEU. Hence, the movie has the opportunity to take a totally unique take on it. In the DCEU, the change from blue to yellow could have a symbolic meaning to demonstrate emotional progress for Barry.

The Flash will not lay low when it comes to making you feel things. The emotional spectrum can weigh heavy in the hearts of Barry Allen’s fans. The movie will establish Barry as his own superhero outside of the Justice League.. This particular alteration of Flash’s speed color from blue to yellow can also indicate that Barry is getting incredibly powerful. This power-up can be constituted in the new movie very easily. Barry’s speed color is yellow in the comics, it is logical for The Flash movie to induce it as his franchise is getting established from here on now.

The Cast & Synopsis

According to The Hollywood ReporterThe Flash has added Spanish actor Maribel Verdú — known for her role as Mercedes in Guillermo del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth — as Barry Allen’s mother, Nora Allen. Other cast members of the film include Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Sasha Calle, Kiersey Clemons, and Maribel Verdú. Christina Hodson has written the script of the film.

The Flash is said to take inspiration from the DC Comics story Flashpoint. This is of note, as Flashpoint revolves around Barry traveling back in time to save his mother, inadvertently creating a new reality where the world is on the brink of total destruction. Barry’s actions set the stage for DC’s New 52 relaunch in 2011. The Flash stars The film arrives in theaters on Nov. 4, 2022.

We’ll keep reporting as more of The Flash Set photos arrive.
