There will always be some movies in one’s collection which would never make you bored. These classic action movies were filmed to the utmost perfection of their times and have withstood the brunt of times and still have not given the audiences much to complain about. They might not meet the cinema technological advancements of today, but have become the most-watched movie even today and have set the bar up high. Classic action sequences tend to die out with new cinema tricks being discovered now and then, but some of these action stories have become more pristine and immaculate with time.

Terminator 2

One of the best and classic productions of James Cameron marked this movie as the best-grossing movie of 1991. The return of Arnold as the life-saving terminator took everyone by surprise and Arnold’s emotionless acting came in handy with the character of T-800 a humanoid sent from the future to protect John Connor, who was the so-called leader of the resistance in the future. Predator 2

One of the classics from the 1990s that revolved around the fantasy of aliens with predatorial instincts who come to Los Angeles hunting and killing drug gangs, with the police trying to find the source of killings. The movie was directed by Stephen Hopkins and to date can give the best viewers the goosebumps. At the box office, the movie did a closing of $5.71 million.

ALIENS

Another of James Cameron’s production from 1986 saw, Sigourney Weaver, being sent to a planet called LV-426 to establish contact with a terraforming team where she encounters a vicious alien race and her queen. She engages in battle with the queen and her offspring’s in an attempt to survive.

Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark

A classic action thriller directed by Steven Spielberg, which saw Harrison ford aka Indiana Jones venture into an escapade to get hold of a biblical artifact called the ‘Ark of the Covenant’. During this noble endeavor, he has to fight an army of Nazis and their deranged general who wishes to bring harm to the world by using the ark for bad deeds. The box office hit did a revenue of $38.99 million around the world.

An action thriller set in the city of Hong Kong sees Lee, a Shaolin martial artist aid MI6 in a secret mission to nab a known offender to stop the crimes happening in the city. Bruce Lee starring and directed by Robert Clouse this movie redefined the start of action with the use of martial arts. The movie did a business of $35 million at the box office.

The One

Jet Li starrer movie opened a new chapter for action with martial arts and sci-fi. The story sees a cop traveling across multiple universes to kill his versions to gain immortality. Director James Wong created one of the best sci-fi action thrillers of all time.

Blade 2

The 2002 thriller sees Wesley Snipes kick in as the vampire slayer in the second edition of the Blade series. Guillermo Del Toro directed movie sees the rise of a new breed of vampires who have undergone a rare mutation called Reapers and attack both vampires and humans alike. Wesley along with an elite vampire force is tasked to put an end to the Reaper menace.

One of the best productions of Stephen Chow, witnesses an aspiring gangster fantasizes to be a part of an infamous ring of local mafia and tries to terrorize a local society.
