A Few Words About Rabindranath Tagore
Rabindranath Tagore, Date Of Birth: 7th May 1861, was a Bengali polymath cum poet cum a musician and an artist. He brought about a lot of changes in Bengali literature and its music, alongwith Indian art with Contextual Modernism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Author of the “profoundly sensitive, fresh and beautiful verse” of Gitanjali, Tagore in 1913 became the first non-European and 1st Indian to win the Nobel Prize in Literature Category.
