The First Teaser of Zack Snyder’s Justice League Reveals Darkseid

First Teaser of Zack Snyder’s Justice League:

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is finally coming out as it was given the green light a month ago. A few days later, Zack Snyder stated that he is already working on editing the first trailer of his upcoming film (miniseries). Well, we do have to wait for the full fledged trailer of the film, we’re still happy that the first teaser of the upcoming HBO Max event has now hit the internet. Take a look:

Darkseid is coming and we don’t think that after watching Zack Snyder’s Justice League, anyone could stop him. If people are already going gaga over Darkseid’s arrival in Justice League, just imagine what will happen when they’d get to see the full fledged version of the big DC villain in action. The fans were disappointed after knowing how Joss Whedon had to cut all ties to Darkseid in the film when we were actually supposed to see his younger version Uxas in the ancient Old Gods battle, and the final version of him in the end.

First Teaser of Zack Snyder's Justice League

Darkseid’s appearance in Justice League was originally supposed to be a secret as none of the trailers showed him. But Darkseid’s presence in the trailer was actually spotted through his voice. In the Comic Con trailer that was released in 2017, there was a dialogue – “No protectors here. No Lanterns, no Kryptonian. This world will fall, like all the others.” People presumed that this was said by Steppenwolf, but the revelation later came that this dialogue was actually spoken by Darkseid actor Ray Porter.

Till now, it wasn’t established that Porter actually voiced the big DC villain. But it has now been confirmed by the actor himself. Porter further talked about Darkseid’s amazing other worldly voice that we will get to hear in the upcoming 2021 HBO Max movie. In his interview with LightCast, he said:

“You’ll hear it when I hear it. I went through a few different sort of vocal gymnastic things in kind of trying to figure out the voice. I needed it to be understandable, but it needed to be a voice that was not of this Earth. And that’s what I tried to go for. I can’t wait to hear it either, because also, while I did this voice and everybody was really, really nice about it. I know that in post they probably did stuff to it, and I can’t wait to hear that. Plus, the voice that I did, it wouldn’t be something that I could really project. It’s hard, hard on the vocal cords.”

Justice League Darkseid

Zack Snyder confirmed in the past that Darkseid’s anti-life equation will come into full effect in the future Justice League movies. As the Knightmare sequence has suggested, Superman is supposed to give in to the Anti-Life Equation after Darkseid murders Lois Lane. The Mother Box will even take control of Cyborg. Things will become extremely tough for the Leaguers in Justice League 2 & 3. Darkseid will prove to be a formidable villain once he is given the chance. And what’s interesting is that he even has a plan for Lex Luthor, as Lex is the one who rung the bell for him.

We just cannot wait for this cut to arrive. Zack Snyder has got an additional CGI budget, and we expect him to make some necessary changes. The Red Skies will probably turn black once more, Steppenwolf might have a different look, boom tubes will be different, Martian Manhunter will make an appearance, we’d get another look at Atlantis, the Flash will travel through time, and so many other things are supposed to happen.

First Teaser of Zack Snyder's Justice League

While we’ve only seen the first teaser right now, we shouldn’t expect a full trailer until August 22. Initially, we thought that the trailer could arrive next month on Comic-Con@Home. But WB has announced the DC FanDome global event to take place on August 22. And Zack Snyder has confirmed that he’d be at the Dome. Hence, we will surely get a trailer then.
