The cast of the fourth Matrix movie being planned keeps on growing. The casting director of Matrix 4 and Lana Wachowski are currently in negotiations with Priyanka Chopra for the actress to join forces with the Wachowski brothers in this new upcoming project. The fourth Matrix movie will see the return of Keanu Reeves as Neo and Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity with Lana Wachowski set to direct the project. The plans for the movie were announced last year in the month of August.
Priyanka Chopra refuses to comment on anything concrete for the fans to latch on to but Variety has already confirmed that talks are currently underway and they claim they have some really good and trusted sources. Priyanka Chopra has refused to give us even a hint of her involvement. She has already had the experience of acting in action-oriented roles. She was in Quantico and she also played the role of a femme fatale antagonist in Baywatch starring Zac Efron and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
Matrix 4 already stars Yahya Abdul Mateen II, Neil Pattrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, and a flurry of other new actors will join the movie. Lawrence Fishburne, Jada Pinkett Smith, Moss, and Reeves are returning to reprise their roles. Priyanka Chopra’s character, should she choose to accept, will probably be a no-nonsense action-oriented role that explores her already vast experience in the field. She is currently working on her newest project – We can be Heroes, which is a Netflix Original and is being directed by Robert Rodriguez.
