Falcon & Winter Soldier Set Photos Give us First Look at New Captain America

First Look at New Captain America:

Falcon & Winter Soldier are going to make their return this August on Disney+. This will be the first exclusive MCU series and we’re hoping that it is going to bring in a lot of surprises for us. The introduction of John Walker as US Agent and Lemar Hoskins as Battlestar is the most awaited. They will be the government chosen replacements of ‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier’. Yes, Captain America chose Sam Wilson as the new Captain America, but the government won’t be accepting that. Sam & Bucky did go against the law in the past, and their history might lead them to get decommissioned.

That’s how US Agent & Battlestar might come into play as the new Captain America & his sidekick. Wyatt Russell has been cast as US Agent (John Walker) and now we’ve got the first look at him on the set of ‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier’. What’s interesting is that Captain America’s shield has also gone to US Agent. We don’t yet know whether it is the same shield that Cap gave to Sam, or did the US Government get one made and assigned it to US Agent? It should be the same one because that’s what is going to cause a bit of drama on the show. Anyway, here’s the first look:

Apparently, the man in the suit doesn’t seem to be Wyatt Russell. It seems that a stunt double has donned the suit in this particular photo. But since Russell seems to be portraying a fractured arm here, what if he isn’t the new Captain America either? This probably won’t be the case as it has to be a double in the suit. Talking about the suit, it looks awesome in live action. We saw it in a concept art previously and now we’ve got the full view, so nice.

In the comics, US Agent turns out to be one of the villains, so we could expect that to be the case on the show as well. It’d be interesting to see if US Agent and Battlestar are actually working for Baron Zemo or not. Another one of the surprises that this show is going to bring in for us is the presence of Zemo’s Masters of Evil, and the ultimate road to Zemo recruitment in MCU’s Thunderbolts.

At Brazil Comic-Con Experience, Kevin Feige hinted that The Falcon And The Winter Soldier will also be connected to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness somehow. We still don’t know how that will happen, but it sure seems like something related to the Multiverse will come into play on this show.

The Falcon And The Winter Soldier will consist of 6 episodes. The general belief is that every episode will be around 40-50 minutes long, but The Mandalorian had 30 minutes long episodes as well. So, the same should be expected from this show. Marvel is investing big budgets into making these shows and let’s hope that they’d turn out to be as great as (if not better than) the movies.
