Venom Will Appear in Spider-Man 3:
The Sony-Marvel deal does have the tendency to be full of surprises. Why do we say that? Well because Kevin the man, the Boss, the Feige has said that Spider-Man will switch back and forth between Sony’s Universe of Marvel Characters and Marvel Cinematic Universe. Here’s what he said:
“I am thrilled that Spidey’s journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it. Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe. He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold.”
Well, Feige did say that Spider-Man will cross cinematic universes. But he never said that any other heroes from Sony’s Spider-verse will also be able to cross cinematic universes. Also, he said that the future could hold surprises that we might not see coming. And that big surprise could be Venom showing up in Spider-Man 3. Why are we hitting hard at this point? There are 2 reasons:
- Sony has to set up a Multiversal Jump.
- Roger Wardell, an unsung Marvel leaker has vouched for this.
Spider-Man has to make the jump to Sony‘s Universe of Marvel Characters and that could either be done using Venom or Morbius. By the end of Venom 2, we might see Venom end up jumping through the multiverse. And by the end of Spider-Man 3, we could actually see him in the MCU, either to take Spider-Man with him, or may be stay for a while, who knows.
It’s important for us to stress on Roger Wardell’s tweets because every bit of info that he has tweeted since December 2018 has either happened exactly the way he said or is being set up for that. Right above this, you can see Wardell claim that Sony wants Venom to be in Spider-Man 3. After this tweet, the whole “Spider-Man leaving the MCU, and Spider-Man returning with a power of jumping cinematic universes” happened. So, it does seem that Sony got what they wanted. We believe Wardell is right because here’s what he’s been right about till now:
Ms. Marvel & Power Pack
Black Knight’s rapid entry into the MCU
Everything reported above has come true. Wardell was spot on about Endgame’s plot details months ago before the release. And he was right about Ms. Marvel & possibly even Power Pack. Now here are other certain facts that Roger Wardell is possibly right about:
Just yesterday, James Gunn claimed that Adam Warlock isn’t going to appear in Vol. 3. So that’s a big hint that all of which Wardell has reported could be absolutely true.
The setup for Thunderbolts will probably begin with Black Widow. Then it will continue happening through the course of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier (because that’s where Zemo will return), She-Hulk and Ant-Man 3.
Now if Wardell is dead right about everything we’ve mentioned above, then we have to believe him when he is talking about Sony wishing for Venom to somehow appear in Spider-Man 3. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will clearly be setting up the multiverse, and using that same concept, Spider-Man 3 could have Venom appear in the MCU for a while. This would allow Spider-Man to return to Sony’s Universe of Marvel Characters with Venom for Venom 3, and then return once more for his appearance in Avengers 5 or perhaps even the Fantastic Four movie. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
Spider-Man 3 is set to release on July 16, 2021.
