#1: Creation

Sentry was created by Paul Jenkins, Rick Veitch and Jae Lee(No relation to Stan Lee). They began conceptualizing Sentry (Robert Reynolds) in the late 1990s and the main idea for the character was about “An over-the-hill guy, struggling with addiction, who had a tight relationship with his dog”. Sentry made his first appearance in the Marvel Comics in the miniseries “Marvel Knights” in September 2000.
