New Clues Hint at Tony Stark Returning After Spider-Man: Far From Home

The number of clues that were riddled in the Spider: Man: Far From Home was already firing off too many red flags. The fans were already flushed with grief after Iron Man’s sad demise after Avengers: Endgame’s climax scene ended with Iron Man snapping Thanos out of reality and sacrificing himself in the process to save the universe. His everlasting last words – I Love You 3000 still echo within the chambers of our hearts. We thought we had lost the one true Avenger. Far From Home gave us a way out. The sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming was rumored to be holding the secret to the final cameo appearance of Tony Stark aka Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But if the current rumor mill churns out session is to be trusted, RDJ is not just coming for a cameo. Far From Home just might be holding the key to bringing back Tony Stark from the dead.

The thing that has actually enamored the fans in Far From Home is the introduction of the Multi-Verse concept, something that only existed in the comic books. The multi Verse concept states that there are several parallel universes working in synchronicity with each other in an extra-dimensional plane, with each universe being slightly or vastly different from the rest of the universes. To put things into perspective, there are infinite numbers of the universe completely different from the current iteration of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Avengers: Endgame Prelude Comic Soul Stone

In some universes, Thanos was never born. In another universe, Hydra won or maybe the Earth never existed in the first place. So, maybe, just maybe, there might be a universe where things went a little different than the one in Endgame – Tony Stark managed to survive in alternate reality earth. Since there are an infinite number of permutations and combinations of quantum physics involved that govern each reality, it is plausible to think that a version of Tony Stark is alive in another universe.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer Mysterio MCU

Mysterio has opened up a world of opportunities for Iron Man to come back to the MCU. But that is not the theory we are trying to tell you about. There might be another simpler way Tony Stark could be resurrected back from the dead in the MCU. And it all boils down to Peter Parker’s glasses in the Spiderman: Far From Home trailer. Reddit User TheMarvelScoopMaster, who is known to have correctly predicted a lot of things about the MCU, claims something really interesting regarding the future of Tony Stark in MCU Phase 4. He states and we quote:

“I have heard he is the AI when Peter puts on glasses, but cannot confirm [yet].”

Spider-Man: Far From Home

This could be a double-edged sword. This indeed makes a lot of sense. Tony Stark is a master designer when it comes to creating A.I constructs. It is only rational to think that he copied his own neural network and made a digital version of himself as an Artificial Intelligence. This might mean the fans could see Tony Stark coming back to the MCU (in some form anyway). But this might also devalue his death at the end of Endgame, which was one hell of a farewell and might make the scene where he makes the mutilate sacrifice rather shallow to look at. We hope the Marvel Overlords know what they are trying to do.  We will have to wait and see if this theory pans out to be true. We will keep you posted if we find further updates regarding Tony Stark’s return. Until then – buckle up and brace yourselves for a bumpy ride up ahead.

Spider-Man: Far From Home

Avengers: Endgame was released on the 26th of April, 2019. The official film synopsis of the movie has been already released and it states:

“After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.”
