Sony Reportedly Says that Spider-Man Spinoffs Taking Place in the MCU is a Possibility

Spider-Man: Far From Home is coming out in less than 2 weeks and it is bringing us our very first live-action Multiverse on the big screen. But with the Multiverse becoming a big thing of the MCU’s future is it plausible that Universes outside of the MCU could also collide with Marvel? For instance, people do wanna see Venom and Spidey take each other on, and since a Sony movie is bringing us the Multiverse, that has to mean something. No one is really confirming this right now, but it could surely be done keeping the collision of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Sony’s Universe of Marvel Characters in mind.

This is the only way Tom Hardy’s Venom, and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man could take each other on in a movie. What’s crazy is that even Marvel Leaker Roger Wardell has claimed on Twitter that Sony wants Tom Hardy’s Venom to pop in Spider-Man 3. Here’s what he wrote on twitter:

Now, even Sony’s leader Amy Pascal has claimed that the possibilities of SUMC, movies taking place within the MCU are endless. Here’s what she said in an interview:

“The most important thing is that each of these movies can stand on their own. So I think the first thing for us to think about is: Venom has to stand on its own, Far From Home has to stand on its own, Spider-Verse has to stand on its own. They all have to be great movies themselves. And then the possibilities are endless…

That’s the thing about the Spidey universe. There are so many characters; we haven’t even scratched the surface of it. I’m always getting calls from Dan Slott saying, “But you haven’t done this one yet! You haven’t done that one yet!”

Now, this doesn’t mean that we’ve got a confirmation of Venom coming into Spider-Man 3 or Tom Holland’s Peter Parker jumping universes to meet the likes of Venom & Morbius. But then again, it could be a possibility if the Giant Studios want that! Let’s see what the future holds for us.
