Ser Jaime Lannister is the heir to Casterly Rock and was skilled enough to be brought into the folds of the Kingsguard. After serving the Iron Throne for quite a long time, Jaime found himself questioning his ways and became more of an anti-hero of the series. Jaime’s fighting prowess was still unmatched even after he lost his way. He managed to get the upper hand in his fight with Ned Stark, a highly seasoned warrior himself. He also participated in the Battle of Winterfell, aiding the good guys in fighting the White Walkers and their army. After losing his right hand, he was no longer the fighter he used to be. But he still managed to be one of the best of the lot, if not the best that is.

 9. Oberyn Martell

When Oberyn was young, he decided to travel to faraway exotic lands to rediscover his roots. He ended up fighting for the Second Sons as a mercenary for hire. His martial arts prowess was unique and deadly. He had advanced knowledge of lethal poisons, a skill he used in the battlefield by coating each and every blade he had with poisons. Oberyn’s reputation as a fighter grew so much that he was called the ‘Red Viper of Dorne’. As the leader of the Unsullied, a martial race that is trained from childhood to become a seasoned warrior, Grey Worm is the greatest Unsullied warrior to ever live. His real name is Ser Gregor Clegane of House Clegane, one of the most loyal Vassal Houses of House Lannister. Whenever the Lannister armies encounter a problem they cannot solve (which is saying something), they look to Gregor Clegane for help. With one swing of his sword, he can chop of 3 heads. His enormous strength is complemented his size. The only downside to his stature is that he is somewhat slow. If an enemy is quick enough to cut him and jump around, Clegane has a hard time countering. Oberyn Martell did it and almost succeeded. The Hound did it and finished the job. The Mountain became a force to be reckoned with after Qyburn’s inhumane experiments turned him into a super strong zombie knight.

The Hound was a member of the Kingsguard even though he was not a knight. He has fought in numerous wars and seldom suffered defeat. Even though he was scared of fire, he still managed to defeat Sir Berric Dondarrion when the entire surrounding arena was aflame. He managed to do the impossible after he successfully killed the one man no one ever though could be killed – Ser Gregor Clegane but lost his life in the process.

She is the leader of the Kingsguard as a reward for her bravery and courage in the battle of Winterfell against the White Walkers and the Undead and her service to the Iron Throne. Khal Drogo is the epitome of what a Dothraki warrior strives to become. He is big but he is also fats. He is bulky but he can be agile as well. Every Khal has to answer a challenge to his throne, no matter who it is and if the challenger wins, the Khal has to give up his throne. Khal Drogo had managed to stay undefeated even though his Khalasar had the largest number of challengers since any Dothraki could have challenged him. When Mago, a guy of equal size and weight, challenged him to a death match, Khal Drogo ripped his throat out with his bare hands without wearing any armour, even though Mago was using the Arakh – the traditional Dothraki curved sword.

 1. Arthur Dayne

Most Skilled Warriors in Game of Thrones

Probably the most skilled swordsman to ever exist in the Seven Kingdoms, Ser Arthur Dayne was a legendary swordsman and a highly reputed veteran hailing from House Dayne. Dayne was called the “Sword of the Morning“, a title bestowed on him by King Rhaegar Targaryen, his best friend, and closest confidante. His skills with the sword were so sharp that he was recruited into the Kingsguard right away by Rhaegar. He wielded the Valyrian steel sword called Dawn and used it to vanquish many foes of the Iron Throne. His greatest victory was probably killing the Smiling Knight, a mad and insanely huge swordsman who was rumoured to be even bigger than Gregor Clegane aka the Mountain.
