Avengers: Endgame Directors Tease Entirety of Trailers to be Fake Footage

Avengers: Endgame –

Folks at Marvel have been so savage living the thug life, as they’ve been playing with us by finding different ways to keep major secrets intact. But the biggest trick used by Marvel is to put fake or manipulated scenes within the trailers. In case of Infinity War, that kinda made us feel robbed as the two of the major scenes that marketed the movie entirely did not make it to the film.

The initial trailers of Endgame weren’t really giving us a whole lot of footage and even with that, we couldn’t be sure whether all of that was true or not. The Russos got to talking with Rotten Tomatoes during the Avengers: Endgame press junket and they were asked what percentage of the trailers contains fake scenes. Here’s what Anthony said:

“Maybe. Maybe it’s all fake. Maybe there’s not a real frame in that whole trailer.”

Well, Marvel certainly has the Cojones to do that, but we cannot for one second believe anything they say with regards to this. They are tricking us with their mind games.

There will obviously be plenty of fake scenes in the film, but it isn’t logically possible to put fake scenes in the entirety of the trailers. The marketing expenditure for Avengers: Endgame has been higher than any other film, so perhaps a lot of the footage that we’ve seen could be digitally manipulated. But it’s good that most of the footage would be rigged because we’d only get the real picture in the theatres and not before that.

We’ve grown used to the trailers manipulating us as we get different variants of scenes which seem cool even if they don’t make it to the final cut of the film. Being misled obviously keeps us away from the real deal, so it’s cool. Marvel does it for our best interest, so we should be just happy for it and enjoy.

The Russos have already confirmed that the Cap and Tony “Do you trust me?” scene is also fake and not in the film. The good thing is that we have a proof for the different Variant of the scene through the Set Photos. Cap is supposed to be wearing his Avengers 1 suit, and the scene has to take place during the first battle of New York.

Another major aspect that these trailers would have played with is Black Widow’s hair. The timeline of the film depends upon her hair, and the trailers would have certainly altered her hair in various scenes through CGI. Well, let’s just wait for the film to see what else was altered.

Here’s the new synopsis of Avengers: Endgame:

“Thanos snapped his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War, and half the life in the universe instantly dissolved. Now a ragged group of surviving warriors, including Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk works to counteract the Mad Titan’s genocidal action.

Since our heroes couldn’t stop Thanos the first time, what makes them think they can win in a rematch? The answer may be in overwhelming power, thanks to Captain Marvel, or in the tiniest spaces between atoms accessible to Ant-Man. Avengers: Endgame will rewrite the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it. When it’s all over, nothing will be the same.”
