Avengers: Endgame comes out in less than 30 days now and we are just inching closer to what’s going to be the grandest event in the history of cinema. It’s the final stage of marketing as well and we really are in the Endgame now. Getting closer to the film, we know that the tickets are just about to go on sale. So let’s talk about the right way that you should watch this film, & i.e. in IMAX theatres. Just check out this new Avengers: Endgame IMAX Trailer featurette, and you’d understand why this film needs to be viewed in IMAX so it could be fully appreciated:
For those of you who would have watched Avengers: Infinity War in IMAX, you’d know that there is no better way to witness a great film like Avengers: Endgame. Well, not even the 4DX experience comes closer to the amazing possibilities that IMAX possesses. The 26% of extra footage, the extended vertical angles, the vibrant colours and the overall imagery just gets so amazing with every film if it is viewed in IMAX.
The only thing that can be better than IMAX is IMAX in 4DX. But that obviously doesn’t exist as of now. But that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t watch the film in either of these two amazing ways. IMAX surely will always be preferred over 4DX because the whole 4DX experience could get irritating for some people, especially when it is a 3-hour movie like Endgame is going to be! So, with so much happening in the film that we don’t know of, IMAX is going to be the perfect option.
This new IMAX trailer doesn’t give us any new information, but it does sell the fact that Avengers: Endgame should be seen in the way it is meant to be seen. There are so many theories that surround Avengers: Endgame, and it will be great to see one of those come true.
Marvel is keeping everything very close to their chest, not letting anything out. They gave actors fake scripts, didn’t tell them what was really happening on set, showed us a few shots of fake footage in the trailers, straight up lied to our faces multiple times, and what not!
But leaks have a funny way to find a path to reach us. Most of the leaks have come through action figures making their way online, but some of those actually came through spoilers revealed by actors. Sebastian Stan revealed that there is a scene where everyone including Hank Pym, Janet Van Dyne and Nick Fury were seen standing in a que ready for the final showdown.
Then there’s a scene that revealed Tom Holland where Spider-Man and Doctor Strange will be involved with the Quantum Realm as Benedict Cumberbatch had a lot of lines about the Quantum Realm. We’d only find out more when Avengers: Endgame comes out.
Directed by Joe & Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame will open on April 26, and it’ll presumably star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jeremy Renner Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Danai Gurira, Peter Dinklage, Benedict Wong, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Gwyneth Paltrow, Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Paul Rudd, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Tessa Thompson, Evangeline Lilly, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Cate Blanchett, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, Tilda Swinton, Jeff Goldblum, Katherine Langford, Stellan Skarsgard, Ava Russo and Brie Larson.
Here’s the new synopsis of Avengers: Endgame:
“Thanos snapped his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War, and half the life in the universe instantly dissolved. Now a ragged group of surviving warriors, including Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk works to counteract the Mad Titan’s genocidal action.
Since our heroes couldn’t stop Thanos the first time, what makes them think they can win in a rematch? The answer may be in overwhelming power, thanks to Captain Marvel, or in the tiniest spaces between atoms accessible to Ant-Man. Avengers: Endgame will rewrite the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it. When it’s all over, nothing will be the same.”
Remember to watch it in IMAX!
