Avengers: Endgame is one month away from us, and Marvel has given us the most agonizing reminder by launching new character posters of everyone that is going to be in the film. While we’ve already seen the survivors, we now get to see all the Snap Victims and other heroes that fell prey to the wrath of The Mad Titan. There are some characters who are in the film and haven’t been shown in these individual posters, so don’t be worried. They’ll be shown. Some of those characters include M’Baku, Maria Hill, Hank Pym, and Janet Van Dyne.
Without wasting any more time, let’s get into all the posters.
Black Panther
The first big shock right after the snap came when we saw T’Challa disintegrate. He just became the King of Wakanda, and having brought War to his home, he perished along with many others.
Spider-Man
The saddest death of Infinity War was certainly Peter Parker’s as it was a gut punch that came out of the screen. “Mr. Stark, I don’t feel so good!” Neither did we.
Doctor Strange
Stephen Strange was the one who clearly set up the Endgame having seen the future that the Avengers win in. He gave away the Time Stone willingly because there was no other way!
Star-Lord
People still haven’t forgiven what Star-Lord did on Titan. He has got some serious Anger Management issues as we also saw him burst with rage when Ego told him about his mother. We saw the same in Infinity War. But because he wasn’t able to hold his nerve, the Universe lost half of its population.
Drax
This is a mistake. Drax shouldn’t be in this list as he is still alive. He has accessed his greatest ability, i.e. being Invisible to the naked eye.
Gamora
Gamora is the first member on this list who didn’t die as a result of the Decimation. But she is one of the biggest reasons as to why the Snap became possible. She could be the key to saving the snap from ever happening because if she somehow dies before the events of Infinity War, then Thanos would never be able to find where the Soul Stone is. Even if he does, the Stone wouldn’t accept any sacrifice that he makes.
Groot
Groot was the youngest character to die off the snap. His death was also emotional as his father Rocket couldn’t do anything about it.
Mantis
Another fellow Guardian that fell prey to the snap. Because of her abilities, she was able to sense the snap way before anyone else did. Then later she joined the rest of her team turning to dust.
The Wasp
Right after the first appearance of her Superhero persona, we see her get vanquished as a result of the Snap. She left the land of the living along with her parents. But we do know that she has a small role in Endgame as it was confirmed back Evangeline Lilly back in 2018.
Vision
Vision was yet another character who died at the hands of Thanos before the Snap. In fact, he was the only character who had to face death twice! He sacrificed himself for the greater good, but Thanos reversed time, got hold of the Mind Stone and then killed him on his own. But a little birdie told us that he will be returning for sure.
Scarlet Witch
Another extremely powerful Avenger turned to dust as a result of the Snap. She came in really handy against Thanos, but now she will have a small role in Endgame, just like the other snap victims.
Loki
This is confirmation of the fact that Loki did die when Thanos snapped his neck. There was no illusion. He died a hero, an Odinson. But this poster also proves the fact that he is in Endgame. He is there in the time travel sequences, but we don’t know whether he will return like the rest of the heroes.
Nick Fury
Fury showed up outtanowhere right at the end of Infinity War, and he did the most important thing, i.e. call in the cavalry. He was very active post Age of Ultron, but we just didn’t get to see that on screen. Seeing all the people around him disintegrating, he called in the biggest help to the Avengers, i.e. Captain Marvel.
Winter Soldier
Bucky was the first one to turn into dust onscreen. He went out right in front of Captain America, and that would have certainly left a huge impact upon him.
Falcon
Sam also had one of the saddest deaths as he died alone with no one around him. Rhodey was looking for him, but he went out hiding beneath the bushes. All other snap victims went out with someone around them, except Falcon.
Shuri
Now, this is the biggest reveal as everyone suspected Shuri to have survived the Snap. The first trailer showed us that she was amongst the people who went MIA, but we all thought it to be a misdirection. This poster does confirm that she also ended up dying, but for all we know, this could also be another misdirection to corroborate the first trailer.
All these posters are black and white as that is the theme Marvel has been using for all the snap victims in their trailers and TV Spots. Those trailers shots also have a bit of Red, and we also see some red in these posters through Marvel’s logo.
