Avengers: Endgame is officially 1 month from us now (well in India it is less!), and we literally are in the Endgame now. We have to be ready for the snap survivors to “Avenge the fallen” heroes. Infinity War’s horrific ending has led the Avengers to their final stand against Thanos. This last stand is what will ultimately count at the end. We know that things are going to be fine as Spider-Man: Far From Home is proof of that. But we still have to know what will the survivors have to do to make things good again.
Marvel has been kinda slow at marketing this film, but they are getting us ready for what’s about to come next. The second trailer of Endgame introduced us to one of the tag lines of this film, and now we have got brand new character posters revealed by all the actors who play certain characters in the film. The new tagline apparently is “Avenge The Fallen.” What’s great is that not just the survivors, but the dusted characters have also got their own character posters in the 32 images released by Marvel and the fellow Avengers cast members. Take a look:
Iron Man
It always starts with Iron Man. Cap may be the leader but he literally is the Godfather of the MCU! He obviously has the most important role in this film! It’d be interesting to see whether he gets killed off or retired.
Captain America
We all missed Cap in Infinity War as his role was dialed down a whole lot. But the Russos have promised that Endgame will make up for the lost time and give Cap a huge outing. Well, he is the biggest candidate to be sacrificed at the end, so brace yourself Captain America fans.
Black Widow
ScarJo is obviously not on twitter or Instagram for that matter, and that is why this character post comes from the official page of The Avengers. Just like Cap, Black Widow has also been promised an extended role. Nat should survive the movie, but we will find out soon.
Hulk/Bruce Banner
We don’t see the Hulk here and that is proof that Marvel is hiding something huge with regards to the Green Goliath. They are not ready to give us any hint upon how Banner would turn back into the Hulk. Professor Hulk is already a given, but be ready for the World Breaker Hulk as well!
Hawkeye/Ronin
Clint Barton finally returns after being absent from Infinity War. The trailers have hinted at the death of his family and we will get to see him take on a new persona to begin things. Hawkeye takes the darker mantle on Ronin who apparently is skilled at getting a great haircut!
Thor
This film has to be big for Thor because he has lost everything, and now he is the one who really needs to Avenge the fallen. He was the strongest Avenger in the previous film, but he couldn’t take down Thanos as he lacked the right support. Now he is going to get it as Carol Danvers is going to join the team!
Captain Marvel

Carol Danvers will be with the Avengers right from the beginning and Thanos should be really afraid of what’s coming his way. Her power levels may even exceed Thor.

The Avengers are going to get some real help from Scott Lang as he will be the key to Time Travel. The fact that he is also Giant Man would also come in handy!

Rocket looks kinda sad here and that’s understandable as he is the one who has completely lost his family. All the original Guardians died, and so did his son Groot.
Nebula

Thanos’ only surviving daughter(?) is going to play a significant role in the story. She is the one who will lead the Avengers to Thanos, and we may even witness a sacrifice from her to bring back Gamora somehow.
War Machine
This has to be Rhodey’s last outing as War Machine does get to do a great bit in the film. He is going to get multiple new armors including a War Buster!
Valkyrie

This is the first time Marvel has brought in Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie into the marketing of the movie. The writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely and the directors Joe & Anthony Russo did confirm that she escaped the Asgardian vessel in the beginning of Infinity War, but this poster proves that she also survived the snap.

Okoye’s role in the film would be interesting for us to witness as we would get to see her struggle after losing the new King of Wakanda. She saw T’Challa disintegrate right in front of her eyes and that has to leave a huge impact upon her psychologically. Let’s see what role does she get to play in the film.

Happy missed out an appearance in Infinity War as his cameo got edited from the film. But he is definitely present in this film as this poster certainly proof of that. Everyone who shows up here in these posters would get to play some kind of roles in the film.

Wong was last seen leaving the battle of New York 2.0 as the Sanctum was left unguarded. He is currently back at the Sanctum protecting it, and he may actually get a bigger role to play this time. We could see him communicate with Doctor Strange’s Astral form or something like that.
Pepper Potts
Most of us knew that Pepper did survive the Snap as set photos have shown her in the Rescue armor. People were still not ready to believe that, but here’s the proof that she is coming back in the film, having survived the Decimation.
Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26.
