With the new trailer for Avengers: Endgame abruptly dropped into the internet amidst the euphoria of Captain Marvel, the Marvel hype train has gone into new levels of an override. The Earth’s mightiest heroes are going to have along and bad day ahead of them. That much was confirmed with the twisted end of Avengers: Infinity War. With Thanos still running freely after committing such an atrocious act, it is up to the surviving heroes to keep the flame of the fight burning. The Avengers, or whatever survives of them now, are going to need to pool their resources together and keep watching each other’s backs if they intend to win. They will need all hands on deck for this one. And they have found their latest recruit to give them a hand against the upcoming fight with the Mad Titan.
The new movie Avengers Endgame trailer shows flashbacks of the older Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, with hues of red to symbolize the blood that has been shed fighting the purple megalomaniac. The flashbacks are actually footage from the earlier Superhero origin stories of the MCU, and they do bring back lots of memories. Marvel is going back to the roots with the Avengers: Endgame movie. And the founding members of the Earth’s mightiest heroes are reportedly playing a big part in the upcoming arc.
Right when the Avengers Endgame trailer is just about midway, the scene shows the Avengers including Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Captain America, and Iron Man, in red and white suits marching towards an unnamed location on their quest to defeat the Mad Titan and protect the universe from further harm.
What the new footage does show us in detail is how Clint Barton aka Hawkeye has become a completely lost and broken man after Infinity War. There were theories that Clint Barton’s family, first shown in Avengers: Age of Ultron, did not survive the Snap. Turns out, those theories just might be true. The trailer does reveal a scene where Clint is seen teaching his daughter archery. With the latter holding a bow and arrow just like his father does. The next shot shows Clint Barton, a man with a broken spirit and consumed with vengeance. Ronin is coming for Thanos’ head and he will stop at nothing until he has achieved his goal.
While the tech suits and the Ronin reveal do show that the Avengers Endgame trailer means business, it is the huge reveal of the latest Avenger recruit that has riled up the fan base feathers. It is none other than Captain Marvel, the binary Woman and the strongest superhero of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The scene shows Thor calling the Storm-breaker axe through his right hand, which is placed just beside Carol Danvers’ head.
The fact that Carol Danvers neither flinched nor blinked when the axe came with astonishing speed to Thor’s hand really impresses the God of Thunder. Looking forward to seeing these two Marvel heavyweights join forces and kick Thanos’ butt in Endgame.
