Judging by the Avengers Endgame trailer, it was pretty obvious that Tony Stark aka Iron Man and Nebula aka Gamora’s sister, are in deep, deep trouble. Thanos managed to defeat Team Iron Man on Titan as the heroes were forced to watch their own comrades turn to dust in Infinity War. The only ones that survived the aftermath were Nebula and Iron Man. The rest of the team including Star-Lord, Drax, Mantis, Spider-Man and Doctor Strange perished at the hands of the Mad Titan. The Avengers are not done.
They will fight back in Avengers: Endgame. But how will Tony and Nebula contribute to the fight if they themselves are on the brink of death in the cold void of outer space? Who will rescue those two and bring them back for the climactic battle between good and evil in Endgame? Will the two even return? Turns out, Iron Man is coming back.
There is one character everyone chose to forget but will prove instrumental in rescuing Nebula and the armored avenger from the depths of space.
The trailer for Endgame begins with Iron Man recording his final S.O.S message for the love of his life, Pepper Potts. By the looks of it, Tony is about to die a slow and painful death as the life support systems of the Milano are failing. The TV Spot trailer shows Tony and Nebula are working on some form of technology together that might be significantly useful in either bringing them to safety or helping the other heroes. But the actual rescue will be due to someone completely unexpected.
The Marvel character who will save Iron Man in Endgame is – Shuri!! You heard it right. Black Panther’s sister would be the one who saves the smartest man of Earth from outer Space. Here is the official link to the theory:
There is a lot of ground for the MCU to cover in Endgame. Majority of the heroes are stuck on Earth while others are adrift pointlessly in space. Some are dead while some did not even care to show up in Infinity War.
The story of Avengers Endgame must be built up in such a way that it provides a proper explanation to everything the fans have to ask. This is exactly why the Russo Brothers state that they have decided to make the run-time of the movie to be more than three hours:
“I think the studio’s down with whatever the best story is, and right now we think the movie is playing well and we’ve had great responses from our test audiences,” Joe Russo stated in an interview. “We’re feeling very good about where it is. We’re still doing work to it.”
“We’re definitely not done,” adds Anthony Russo.
“Yeah, we’re not done with it, but, again, this is the culmination film of 22 movies,” Joe said. “That’s a lot of storytelling to work into it and emotion is an intrinsic part of that to us. When you have to tell a really complicated story and you want strong, emotional moments for the characters, it just requires a certain amount of real estate. And this one in particular feels like three hours worth of real estate.”
Avengers: Endgame is set for release on the 26th of April, 2019. The official film synopsis of the movie has been recently released and it states:
“After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.”
The last Avengers movie to be released under the MCU banner was Avengers: Infinity War. The official film synopsis for the movie reads:
Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.
Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I’m a dog chasing cars. I wouldn’t know what to do with one if I caught it! You know, I just… do things
