New Rumors Suggest Possibilities of Hawkeye, Moon Knight & More TV Series on Disney+

Hawkeye, Moon Knight & More TV Series:

2019 is a big year for Disney as they have some major Box Office breaking films coming out, but apart from that they will be the proud owners of all the assets that Fox owns by March, and they will soon launch their own streaming service Disney+ to give us exclusive content from that station.

Talking about Disney+, there is a whole lot of opportunity that the streaming service offers Disney to capitalize on. Even without the Fox properties, Disney+ will have plenty of content as Marvel could easily diversify upon a streaming service that is owned by their parent company.

The latest reports suggested that Marvel is in the early stages of developing a Lady Sif Series for the streaming service. So this gives you the idea that Marvel could really explore the deep ends of the MCU and all this would happen under Kevin Feige’s production. With all this being in talks, new rumors suggest that some fan-favorite characters which would not just include the likes of Hawkeye, but also new unintroduced characters could be making their way to the streaming service.

Coming from various blogs and websites, people are actually talking a lot about many potential characters that could hold a series on the service. We are already suspecting what the various storylines of the likes Loki, Lady Sif, Vision & The Scarlet Witch and Falcon & The Winter Soldier could be, but rumors also dump the first information regarding a potential Hawkeye series. Here’s what’s being stated:

Hawkeye Moon Knight Disney+

“Early development. Pitched as a ‘caper’ about Hawkeye coming out of retirement to help aspiring vigilante as Kate Bishop after she gets in trouble with organized crime while using his name. Hawkeye’s family would be heavily featured, and Linda Cardellini is willing to return, but Jeremy Renner is still studying his options. The Hood would be the main antagonist, with Trickshot as his enforcer.”

Along with Hawkeye, there are various talks about many other series which include The Ravagers, Agent 13, Nebula and Okoye, Rocket & Groot and a prequel featuring Hank Pym. If a Hank Pym prequel series would feature a de-aged Michael Douglas, then the production budget could blow through the roof, so it would be feasible for Marvel to get a young actor instead and that could turn out to be a problem.

Other big name characters which are “unlikely to get feature movies” but may show up in solo TV shows are Moon Knight & Sentry. Kevin Feige has had plans for a Moon Knight project for a long time, and with him getting control of Disney+, this may become a major possibility.

Sentry, in my opinion, is an omnipotent overpowered character that could only be made to work in the Movie Universe, but the fact that his powers are too excessive, he may never get a movie appearance. A Sentry TV show will have to ground him for no reason which what we don’t want as that would become redundant!

So no to Sentry, no to probably Okoye and Nebula. Don’t know where that came from. What we may want is a potential Nick Fury TV show. We need to see more of the narcissistic one-eyed mofo because that would just be amazing. It has already been rumored, so why not. Another show that might turn out to be too expensive is Rocket & Groot, so perhaps Marvel could work out a mini-series that concludes within 3 episodes. That would be fun to watch.

The days of Disney+ content are still ahead of us and we don’t really know what we should expect. Things are bound to change once Disney acquires Fox. So let’s just hope we keep getting these quality shows in the future.

For now, let’s just focus on what’s ahead of us from Marvel. We get to see The Punisher Season 2, which will be followed by Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame. Then comes Spider-Man: Far From Home from Sony. To the back end of the year, we may get the Falcon & Winter Soldier show which will be followed by Vision and the Scarlet Witch. Then there is the Loki TV series that was confirmed by Disney President Bob Iger, and the Lady Sif show which will be seen in 2020.
