Spider-Verse All-Female Spin-Off Confirmed to Feature Spider-Woman And Silk

There are reports that Spider-Woman & Silk are going to join Gwen Stacy for the Spider-Woman movie and as we all know that the movie is going to be a spin-off of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. We can clearly see that Sony is going to have all hands dipped in the webs right now.

As we all know that the movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has been released and the movie is doing quite good at the box-office and there have been plans by Sony Pictures of bringing a movie its all-female spin-off movie as a result of which this news is breaking the internet.

As we all know that in the movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, we saw Miles Morales with four other Spider-Men from different universes making their way into the movie but the movie also had Gwen Stacy (Spider-Gwen) and that is the reason why Sony Pictures is bringing the idea of a Spider-Woman movie.

There are reports that the female spinoff movie is going to be directed by none other than Lauren Montgomery and the movie is going to promote the character of Gwen Stacy from being in the supporting cast to the main lead of the movie and this has got many fans excited.

But, it has been stated that the movie is also going to introduce many other female Spidey characters and the names are out on the internet. It has been revealed by the producer of the movie Amy Pascal during a recent interview that we are going to see Jessica Drew aka. Spider-Woman and also the famous character of Cindy Moon aka. Silk in the movie.

The responsibility of writing the script of the movie is in the hands of Bek Smith and there are chances that news like this about other characters coming in the movie will make its way on to the internet very soon. Now, if we talk about the characters we are going to see in the movie then we can see that both these characters are really popular.

As we know that Jessica Drew is the one who made her first appearance in Marvel Spotlight #32 in the year 1977 and like many other Spidey characters of the Spider-Verse, she also got all the powers after getting bitten by a Spider. Also, in some pages of the Marvel Comics, we can see her in a vital and important role of the team of Avengers.

The character of Spider-Woman has appeared in a lot of animated shows but it is going to be her very first appearance on the big screen. On the other side of the story, we have the character of Silk and as we know that she made her debut in Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 3 #4.

The character was created by none other than Dan Slott and also the origin of this character is quite close to the character of Peter Parker and it is going to be really interesting to have her in the movie.
