MCU Characters:
There are a lot of characters in the MCU over the years which have been forgotten by Marvel Studios despite being so important and popular and there are chances we will see them in different shows on Disney+. With the end of ‘Phase 3’ of the MCU, we are going to look back at the characters who have been in there but aren’t now in the MCU.
With the introduction of Disney+ coming closer and closer, there are hopes that we are going to see these characters soon on Disney’s streaming service as it seems like Marvel Studios has finally woken up from the sleep as there are rumors out there about the same. But, at the moment we really don’t know whom we are going to see and whom not.
Right now, we are going to talk about the 10 characters which we think deserve and are quite popular and also the ones which should get their place on Disney’s streaming service ‘Disney+’. So without wasting a second, let’s call the names.
10. Howard Stark:
The mythical father of Tony Stark is one of the characters in the MCU who has been recast and cast a lot of times in all these years. There have been three actors so far who have portrayed the character of Howard Stark and the fourth one did a voice over for this character.
Well, it’s still strange that the man who has been part of Captain America’s transformation from being a soldier to a superhero and also the man behind the creation of Iron Man has been forgotten by the MCU. But, his creations at the Stark Industries seems to be the most interesting and popular ones.
But, we still couldn’t see the backstory of one of the most talented and intelligent scientists in the world of Marvel but with the streaming service of Disney+, there comes in hope that we will see this character in future for sure.
9. The Howling Commandos:
Well, we all know that Captain America is the first Avenger and the first group of men he worked within a mission was none other than ‘The Howling Commandos’. As we saw in the movie that Captain America wants a team in order to stop the Red Skull.
The team was really good as it had really good commandos in it and with Bucky Barnes also in it, they all formed a tremendous team and they were fun as well. But, Marvel Studios thought of them nothing more than a group of men who helped Captain America in a mission.
But, we all know that they were the ones who captured Zola which was a great success for the team of Captain America. Well, we really want to see a show centered around the WWII drama, quite like Inglourious Basterds but with the spice and taste of the MCU.
8. Nova Prime:
Guardians of the Galaxy movie is one of the best movies of the MCU. It also had a lot of great characters in the movie. But, one character, in particular, was really good and amazing and that is none other than Nova Prime.
The character gave us glimpses of all the stories and things writers have written about space and also all the crazy theories and stories we have seen on the big screen. Irani Rael is one of the soldiers who are in prime position and is also one of the leaders who doesn’t support injustice.
But in the movie, her screen space was really short, which is the reason why not a lot of people could not connect to the character. Well, we all really want to know about the workings in space and having a show centered around a Nova Prime would unveil that along with a lot of secrets.
7. Aldrich Killian:
We have to say that the way Marvel Studios created the character Killian was really tremendous and also the way they put him into the story as we all know saw in the movie that he was a scientist who simply wanted Tony Stark to hear him and say something about him.
But, we all know what happened between him and Tony in the movie and is a reason why I want to see a whole show on him because the man has dedicated his life to his research. Also, we all want to see how he became Mandarin in the show.
6. Abomination:
There aren’t many characters who can give Hulk a sense of a headache in the MCU (Not counting Thanos) but Abomination really gave Hulk a scare in the initial stages as sidelining him from the MCU was really a bad decision by the Marvel Studios.
The main reason why we want to see him in his own show is that Tim Roth is the man who portrayed the character of Abomination. He did great acting and a phenomenal job while portraying the character of Emil Blonsky in the movie and we want a movie more about his non-CGI part.
5. Justin Hammer:
We all want corporate villain trope in the MCU which has been lacking in it for a very long time and the only candidate who seems to be perfect for this job is none other than Justin Hammer because of his bad relations with Stark Industries and Tony Stark.
We have to say that he is the kind of character which can be the Lex Luthor of Marvel and that is the reason why many fans want to have a show centered around him because he is such a cool and villainous character and there are chances if Marvel will work on him then he can be better than the character Ozymandias also.
4. The Collector:
Well, I’m simply a fan of this character because of a lot of reasons and the very first reason is that he knows a lot of things about the creation of the world and having a backstory of him is going to be really huge and will surely bring a lot of secrets about the universe on table.
Also, he has a lot o interesting things in his collection but I’m more interested in the journey or the stories behind all those collections. Also, the actor Benicio Del Toro has simply made the character one of the most interesting in the MCU and we will surely be grateful to Marvel Studios if they’ll bring this one up.
3. Darcy Lewis:
She has been under the shadow of two great characters as Erik Selvig and Jane Foster were the ones who were running the show but the assistant of Jane had a little spark which many fans and makers ignored as she is the kind of character we all missed in the movies of the MCU.
Darcy was really funny but at the same time had a lot of knowledge about the cosmic entities as we have seen in the movie. The character has also played a tremendous role in the movie Thor: The Dark World.
Her own show in which we will see a mix of her funny character with all the menacing and historical things about the universe is what we all want to see also having Selvig in the show is bearable for the fans for sure.
2. Sif:
Well, there has been a lot of ladies in the life of Thor and the man is still single. It’s quite obvious to understand that the story makers of the movies are quite jealous of the charm of Thor. But, I have to admit that Sif is the one who was, no, is the perfect choice for Thor.
She has been in Asgard for a very long time and also has really good relations with the family of Thor and also the mother of Thor likes her too much. The girl also seems to have something in her heart for Thor as we have seen her getting jealous of Jane. But, a show about her will be a really good choice.
1. Cameron Klein:
Cameron Klein is a technician at S.H.I.E.L.D. and I’m sure that not many of you out there would’ve noticed him as he didn’t have any kind of special suit or costume but what he had was a very vital part in Nick Fury’s team.
Well, we have seen Captain America and Nick Fury getting a lot of help from this man and we simply want to see more of this man because right now Marvel Studios should start focusing on the human characters because they have already established their superheroes quite well.
But, they should now relocate their focus on characters like Klein who has been there for a long time and has done some really good work.
