Finally, we are talking about the Captain Marvel movie and I’m really happy that something related to this movie is out in the market because we all are too much focused on Avengers 4 that we forget to realize that the cat of Carol Danvers has got a new name and the name is really funny (Kitty, don’t give me tattoos) but brilliant for the upcoming movie Captain Marvel.
We all know that Carol Danvers has a cat with her always and that cat is no ordinary as we all know that the cat is an alien creature of the race ‘Flerken’ and was in the headlines when the official poster of the movie released earlier this year, in which we saw the tail of Carol Danvers’ cat which was a revelation for non-comic lovers that the cat is an alien.
But, it seems like the alien cat is going to have a new name in the movie rather than the famous and cute name used in the comics, Chewie. According to POPs of Carol Danvers in the market, the POPs includes a lot of characters like Nick Fury and more from the movie.
There was no doubt that the cat is going to be in the list as it is such a huge and important part of the movie because the cat is Carol Danvers’ most trusted companion which will be seen in most parts of the movie.
The name suggest by ‘Pop! VinyI Figures’ is ‘Goose’. Well, I’m giving you five minutes for laughing and rolling on the floor and getting up because many fans are finding the name to be funny and silly. I mean why they want to change a name like ‘Chewie’ which clearly matches with the personality of the cat and also the kind of character it is to Goose? The picture of Goose is down below:
Well now, if I talk about the meaning of this word then you can simply Google it if you want some more laughter shots as many of you will surely know that Goose is a waterbird with a very long neck and have short legs. They are larger than ducks but have shorter bills and longer necks. This is the reason why I’m laughing. Think for a second, what if the cat turns out to be a Goose in the movie? I think it’s too much laughter for today, but I have to say that the POP of this Chewie… oops! sorry, Goose is really sweet and I like it a lot.
Moving to the film, there aren’t many reports whether we are going to see all the characteristics of this alien turned into a cat character in the movie Captain Marvel or not. The cat is a Flerken and it is a very deadly and dangerous species to have around you. Also, there has been a lot of stories in the comics around this cat as they’re really creepy in nature and have access to pocket dimensions located inside of their body.
In these “bubbles”, they can have the ability to store a large number of things or objects, like eggs, fanged mouth and even tentacles at the time of the battle. They also use these subspaces as a medium of instantaneous transport ability although the process which is very unhealthy to witness.
So, clearly there are a lot of great and interesting things we are going to see in this movie but I know that the most important thing for which fans are waiting is the move or sequence when Captain Marvel gets to know about all the madness Thanos has done in the universe. The movie is going to be very vital in order to set the stage for Avengers 4.
