Black Panther from Marvel seems to get some really good awards to its name at AAFCA and the awards they won are really huge which tells a lot about the success of the movie and also the kind of brilliance the movie is filled with.
The movie as we all know has been tremendously successful at the box-office but the movie seems to impress a lot of critics and writings were on the walls about the success of this movie in the department of awards also because the movie wasn’t all about just its incredible action.
There were a lot of things in the movie and the contrast they’ve shown between the glamour of costumes and the costumes of the people of Wakanda is really beautiful and amazing. The movie has gained a lot of attention in many award functions and has already grabbed a lot of awards.
But, it seems like the high point for the movie is here as the movie has won two big awards at the African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) Awards. The movie has won the award for being the Best Film of 2018 and also it is none other than the director of the movie Ryan Coogler who won the Best Director Award.
We have to say that these two awards are the highlights from the awards they won as they also won the award for having the Best Song ‘All the Stars’ because of the hard work and dedication of Kendrick Lamar and SZA. The movie has also received a Golden Globe Nomination and also called as one of the best movies of 2018 by ‘The American Film Institute’.
The movie just doesn’t stop here as Disney and Marvel Studios will be really proud of their outstanding movie which seems to be getting on the top of every award list as it has eight Grammy nominations to its name and has also been nominated for 12 Critics’ Choice Awards. This is really a proud moment for the whole entertainment industry and the more incredible thing is that it is a superhero movie.
Well, we have to say that the movie has some really tremendous stars in it and a result of which we are seeing this movie, doing all these wonders. But, the performance of Chadwick Boseman was really incredible and we have to say that it was one of the things why fans fell for this movie.
The movie has been the second highest grossing movie of the year and it is Chadwick Boseman who has been shortlisted for the title of Time’s Person of the Year. We will have to see to see whether the actor is going to get this big feather on his cap or not.
Well, it seems like the superhero movies are going to change the whole situation of Hollywood industry because we can clearly see that it was Avengers: Infinity War who was the highest grossing movie of the year and also the fourth highest grossing movie of all-time.
But, these aren’t the only movies who are getting all the hype and attention as Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse won the Best Animated Film Award at the AAFCA. And it is nice to see an animated movie getting such appreciation and applause from the people out there.
Well, with a sequel of the movie Black Panther in talks, it seems like Marvel Studios are going to bring a kind of domination in the world of cinema because with the incoming of Avengers: Endgame it seems like a lot of records are going to be broken this time.
Well, no wonder all the eyes are going to be on Academy Awards as the makers of this movie will surely be hoping to have this movie win some Oscars to its name because this will literally engrave the status of this movie as one of the greatest superheroes movies of all-time.
