Avengers: Endgame – Robert Downey Jr. Shows us The Brand New Car of Tony Stark…

Avengers: Endgame

Audi and Marvel have had a chemistry that no other car company could share with a movie studio. Both Marvel and Audi built off of each other ever since Tony Stark drove the Audi R8 for the first time in Iron Man 2008. From there on, Audi and Tony Stark built a great synergy and this car really defines the personality of Tony Stark. We saw R8 and Tony together in every Iron Man movie. His Audi even drowned with him when his house was attacked in Iron Man 3.

Age of Ultron then brought Tony’s custom R8 into the mix. That is the only time we have seen an Audi in an Avengers movie as the other two Avengers films did not feature the car. Spider-Man: Homecoming did, and now the final outing of Tony Stark, i.e. Avengers: Endgame will also give us a glimpse of Tony driving his brand new Audi E-Tron GT. The final film of Tony Stark in the MCU just has to have an Audi, and it is good that Marvel has already confirmed that.

Robert Downey Jr. recently appeared at a new unveiling for Audi’s E-Tron GT, and we even got a look at the customized version of the car that Tony may drive in Iron Man. While we have only seen a few photos of Downey around this car, here’s a full featurette that dives into the relationship of Marvel with Audi, and it also shows us Robert Downey Jr. driving the revolutionary Electric Car not as Tony Stark, but himself. Have a look:

Movies have actually been able to tweak the real versions of these big branded cars, so it may even be plausible for Avengers 4 to have a tweaked and upgraded version of Audi’s E-Tron GT. Perhaps his Audi could, in fact, turn into a new Iron Man suit this time, who knows! We have seen a lot of different versions of Iron Man suits but not that. Although the Nanotech suits will not leave any room for a transformer Audi suit for Tony, still you could at least imagine.

It just feels amazing that all the heroes would go out at their best. Tony Stark will give us his trademark Audi scene, and we will surely see the best Iron Man suit till date, as soon as Tony finds a way back home from space. Thor and Captain America are also said to have amazing story arcs in Avengers: Endgame which may lead them to their deaths, but at least they will kick a whole lot of butt before that.

We know that the movie will focus upon the Quantum Realm and time travel but there are going to be some unforeseen elements in Avengers 4. The movie currently stands at a 3 hour cut, which means there will be plenty of time for these little fan serving scenes including the Audi, or perhaps cameos from the likes of Stan Lee, Joe Russ, and other amazing characters.

Here’s what the writers of the film had to say about the unexpectedness of the film:

“Christopher Markus – [Avengers 4] doesn’t do what you think it does. It is a different movie than you think it is…Also…[the deaths are] real. I just want to tell you it’s real, and the sooner you accept that, the sooner you will be able to move on to the next stage of grief.

Stephen McFeely – Put it this way, I think [Infinity War] is a fairly mature movie for a blockbuster. It’s got a lot of fun in it, obviously, but boy, it gets very mature. The second one is also mature. We’re going to own these choices, and hopefully surprise and delight you and get you invested. It’s by the same studio, the same filmmaking team. They were written at the same time, shot at the same time. They’re clearly connected, but they are definitely two different movies, one of which is dependent on what happened previous.”

Even after seeing the Avengers: Endgame trailer, we don’t really have a clue as to what will really happen in the film. The trailer did not show us much, but it did give us little hints. Still, we would like to find out more because right now we all are clueless sitting ducks. Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26.
