There are a lot of things for which we can admire Game of Thrones as it has been one of the most popular and groundbreaking television series of all time as we all know that there are a lot of fans of Game of Thrones out there and the series has much more in the backyard than the things we saw in the first season of Game of Thrones as there are many things int he great mythology and history of Game of Thrones in which we can see some of the most insane and unbelievable things which were there before the start of season one.

We all know that Robert Baratheon was a very ineffective king but was a very tremendous and robust warrior and also a fine commander. In the time of Robert’s Rebellion, he won every single battle out there but couldn’t be able to win the battle of Ashford.

The commander of the opposing army in that battle was none other than Randyll Tarly. The plan of Tarly was very good that the forces of Robert left with an only option of retreat and that was the first and only time in Robert’s Rebellion when he didn’t win a battle. Tarly had one of the biggest highs of his life in this victory but he one argue with the fact that he turned out to be a really ridiculous and a terrible father.

 14. Rhaegar Targaryen’s End:

It was the battle of the Trident in which both Rhaegar and Baratheon came in front of each other. We all know that both of them loved Lyanna Stark and fought tremendously well with each other.

In most part of the fight, we saw that Rhaegar was on the top until it was the war hammer of Robert Baratheon which killed him and as we all know that he was the lifeline and the heart of Targaryen army. A lot of people used to look upon him in as he was a very noble and a charismatic person.

We all know that Mad King and Tywin Lannister don’t have a very normal relationship and they simply hate each other. But, it was Aerys Targaryen who thought that his former and great hand was still faithful to him during the time of Robert’s Rebellion.

This is the reason for the end of the war and also because of the advice of Grand Maester Pycelle, it was the Mad King who allowed the army of Tywin and him to go through the King’s landing gates. This was the decision which sealed the demise of the Mad King and also the end of his big reign.

Jaime Lannister was the one who was appointed by the Mad King into the Kingsguard with Barristan Selmy and Arthur Dayne also. So, when it was Tywin Lannister who betrayed the Mad King and also sacked the landings of the King, it was none other than Jamie Lannister who betrayed the Mad King instead of protecting him.

In order to overcome and defend against the attacks of the first men, they transformed some of their enemies into the famous White Walkers.

Some eight thousand years ago, Westeros was the place where the winter lasted for an entire generation and was known as the long night, it was the night when the armies of White Walker went out with the mission of ending all the life out there in order to create a complete winter in front of the world.

The war got this name because there were actual dragons in the war. After the war, both Aegon and Rhaenyra died and it was the son of Rhaenyra Aegon III who became the crowned prince and continued the Targaryen dynasty.

But, the extinction didn’t go for too long as the three were dragons born when it was Daenerys who took their eggs into flames.

This was a sort of great move by Tywin Lannister as he tried to arrange a marriage proposal between the son of Mad King Rhaegar Targaryen and his daughter Cersei. Also, Cersei was very much interested in marrying the stunning and handsome son of Mad King. But, it was Mad King who refused the proposal but as we all know that Cersei became the Queen of seven kingdoms and married Robert Baratheon after some time.

 5. Tyrion Lannister And His Marriage:

We all know that Tyrion Lannister isn’t the one who follows rules or cares about traditions a lot. The decision which clearly tells us all about his character was his decision of marrying Tysha, who was a commander and the daughter of a wheelwright.

Both Tyrion and Tysha fell in love and married despite all things against them. But, later it was revealed that the whole marriage was just a plan by Tyrion’s brother Jamie and when Tywin came to know this, he simply destroyed all the things by using all the evil methods.

 4. The Birth Of Daenerys Targaryen:

We have to say that the birth of Daenerys was simply dramatic and astonishing as we all know that her father and brother both were already dead. That time it was Robert Baratheon who saw on the Iron Throne and the pregnant Rhaella Targaryen went straight to Dragonstone and took her son Viserys also.

There are many questions that why Daenerys is often referred as ‘Stormborn’? It is because, at the time of her birth, there was a storm coming. Also, the mother of Daenerys died while giving birth to her.

We all know that Daenerys and Viserys are the ones who were left unsafe after the death of their mother and also with Aerys Targaryen already perished even before the birth of Daenerys. They both needed someone who can show them the new place where they can live as Robert Baratheon is the one who wanted to kill both of them.

At that time, they were blessed to have some Targaryen faithful out there who took Viserys and Daenerys to the free cities of famous Essos which was across the Narrow sea. At that time, they lived with Willem Darry for a very long time.

 2. The Poison Plan Of Lysa Arryn And Littlefinger:

The wife of Jon Arryn doesn’t have any love in her heart for him and instead of him, Littlefinger is the one with whom Lysa Arryn was in love with and can do anything for the happiness of Littlefinger. So, Lysa was the one who knew before anyone else that it’s the death of her husband Jon Arryn which is the key to unravel the seven kingdoms.
