Remo D’Souza has become the God of Dance in the recent few years. Since his stint as a choreographer in a TV dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance’, he has gained immense appreciation and recognition in the film industry. And soon, after realising his talent as a director, he got into movie direction and made his ABCD (Anybody Can Dance) franchise a huge hit. With two instalments already have run a successful course at the box office as well as in the hearts of Bollywood dance fans, there is another movie in the franchise, ABCD 3 on the cards.
The movie is said to be in its pre-production stage. Varun Dhawan has always been a great dancer and tapping on to that talent, Remo decided to take him on as the lead in ABCD 2 and now he will be dancing on the big screen again as the lead actor in ABCD 3. Along with him, Katrina Kaif is said to have been cast. This would be the first time that the two are collaborating for a film and would be sharing a screen space together.
The shooting is said to start next year in January and as per the statement given to Pinkvilla, Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif will meet in London for an International dance competition. Varun will be playing the squad leader from India and Katrina will play a Pakistani dancer in the film. According to Pinkvilla,
“The makers have recorded five songs for the film which will feature Katrina Kaif as a Pakistani girl and Varun Dhawan as an Indian boy. The duo will eventually meet at an international dance competition in London. Writer-director Farhad, who has now been assigned to completeHousefull 4 has been called on as dialogue writer of the film. The film has been helmed by Remo D’Souza and is being produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and is scheduled to hit the theatres on November 8, 2019.”
Varun Dhawan had also shared a teaser earlier this year, announcing the cast and release date of the film. ABCD 3 will release November 8, 2019. Going by the motto of this popular dance franchise “Dance to Express, Not to Impress”, this movie will also follow the same motto as Varun Dhawan mentioned it in the caption of the video.

Katrina Kaif was last seen in Tiger Zinda Hai alongside Salman Khan where she essayed the role of a Pakistani ISI agent where Salman played an Indian RAW agent. Love blossoms between the two, and it becomes a cross-border love story. Katrina in this film also will play a Pakistani dancer. Well, she is a spectacular dancer and so is Varun Dhawan. It would be great to see the two of them sizzle the silver screen together.
Currently, Varun Dhawan is working on his film, Kalank alongside Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif is working opposite Salman Khan in Bharat. Remo D’Souza’s last film, Race 3 invited a lot of trolls and memes and also left him in a bit of trouble with Salman Khan but ABCD 3 film could be his redemption for dance is his territory.
ABCD 3 will be produced by Bhushan Kumar under the banner, T-Series. Along with Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif, the film stars Prabhudeva, Raghav Juyal, Dharmesh Yelande and Punit J Pathak in major roles.
