While it is being reported that the new Avengers 4 trailer may drop as early as the first week of November, it will be interesting to see how the trailer description that we got a few days ago matches with the upcoming trailer. The person who leaked the description was pretty confident about it, but it feels too good to be true. Though it is commendable that he has spent quite a lot of time gathering info on every news and rumor and formulated some scenes that seem very plausible.
For one moment let’s consider the entire description to be true. That would mean some insane new details for Avengers 4. M’Baku being the new king of Wakanda, Tony Stark & Any-Man travelling through time and what not.
You can find the Description here if you haven’t read it yet. This description even confirms the title of the film as “Annihilation.” For a long time, we have been seeing set photos of Ant-Man along with an older Tony Stark, Captain America (from the first Avengers) and Hulk.
So this spawned theories that after the post-credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp, Ant-Man will get stuck in a Time Vortex and land 5 years after the big snap of Thanos. There he will look for Stark and the two will develop time travel through the Quantum Realm further, and that will allow the two heroes to travel back to the events of the first Avengers movie.
Well that theory has been confirmed by this leaked trailer description. Considering this description to be true and accurate, the final moments of the trailer do confirm the use of BARF and time travel through the Quantum Realm. Take a look at the final moments of the narrative:
“We see Captain Marvel floating with her fists on fire and her eyes lit up. Thanos in the soul stone with young Gamora screaming at him, Loki and Thor fighting off Chitauri together. And Tony handing Steve a brand new shield in the Wakandan throne room. (Cuts back to Tony and Scott) Tony opens the orange briefcase as Scott hands him an illuminated bracelet. Tony asks: “How?… Is this even possible?” (Iron Man and Ant-Man are shown travelling through the Quantum Realm. Tony and Scott are back in the battle of New York from 2012. The final shot before the title reveal is an Infinity Stone disappearing from Thanos’ damaged gauntlet. He abruptly gets up and puts on his armor. His face goes from extremely infuriated to a menacing smile.
While we all knew Time Travel was going to be a major plot point in this film, this description confirms the fact that the heroes will be fighting the battles on different fronts. Some will fight Thanos and his goons in the present, while others will attempt to retrieve the Infinity Stones from the past so the Snap never happens.
All this sounds really amazing, but we have to say that this description is indeed far-fetched. It is based upon every major rumor that is out there about the plot of Avengers 4. We cannot say that none of the aspects of this description are true as the individual who has leaked it has managed to get many story points right.
Tony Stark is going to be really important for the plot of the upcoming movie, as he will help decipher a way to travel through the Quantum Realm with the help of Ant-Man. So he will be the key to it all and that is why Doctor Strange vouched for him.
Still, we have to wait for at least two weeks to get any reveals from the film as that is when the first trailer might hit the net. It is then that we will find out whether the description given for the trailer has any truth to it or not. Avengers 4 comes out on May 3, and here’s the official Synopsis of the movie:
