A Major MCU Character Spoiled Infinity War Right Even Before It Began!

The death and destruction that came with the Infinity War were of epic caliber. No one anticipated that a Marvel movie could be this dark and that too right when the movie is about to end. When the dust cleared, there was no one left for Captain America to even bother to scream “Avengers Assemble!!” Thanos really did a number on the Earth’s mightiest heroes. One of the most beautiful things about Infinity War was its utter unpredictability. The cliff-hanger was completely out of the blue. But thanks to this little guy from the MCU, almost everyone already knew how everything is about to end. Presenting – A Major MCU Character spoiled Infinity War right even before it began!!!

Can you guess which character are we talking about? Is it a superhero or a villain? Is it a man or a woman? You might never be able to guess which character we could be talking about.

It is Ned Leeds!!! The best friend of the Friendly Neighbourhood vigilante is the one who spoiled the movie’s ending even before it caught speed. Ned Leeds could be too much of a melodramatic star when it comes to panicking and shrieking like a baby duck. Ned Leeds can be a really, really observational guy that gives utmost attention to detail though. Right at the start of the movie, Ned Leeds is seen on the same bus as Peter Parker when Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian land on Earth to take back the time stone from Doctor Strange and Iron Man. Ned, staying true to his secret mentor and fellow tattle tale Bruce Banner aka Mark Ruffalo, spilled the beans on the movie’s ending. Remember he said and we quote:

“We are all going to die.”

In a recent Reddit discussion, this topic popped up and it suddenly gained an awful lot of traction to ignore. There is no way that Ned knew what was about to happen. He was just overreacting to stuff when Peter asked him to distract the rest so that he could sneak out of the bus and check out the commotion in downtown New York. But the fact that Ned knew what was about to happen next even though he had no way of knowing it beforehand makes this little plot device all the more entertaining and interesting.

So now the million dollar question is – Is our chubby little boy Oracle alive or is he snapped away? Ned Leeds is a major Spiderman character but he is not as much important to the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole. If he did survive, he might also be pondering on the same words of his on the bus like we are right now.

Jacob Batalon is reported to be returning for reprising the role of Ned Leeds in Spiderman: Far From Home, the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming. We do not know at the moment that is he going to make an appearance in the untitled Avengers 4 movie. For now, let us just keep him in the equation just because he is too cool and funny a character to let go.

On that note, Mark Ruffalo recently revealed that the ending for Avengers 4 has not yet been finalized. Ruffalo claims that the Russo brothers are still preparing the script as to how the movie should end. He said and we quote:

“Well we’re doing reshoots starting in September,” Ruffalo said. “And then we’ll go back into the international tour, we’ll go on tour. Then you guys will get the second installment. Which we don’t even know what it’s gonna be yet. We’re not just doing reshoots, we’re going to finish the movie, which we really didn’t get to finish totally when we left it last year.”

A Major MCU Character Spoiled Infinity War Right Even Before It Began!

Infinity War has already been released in DVD and Blu-Ray. The official synopsis of the movie reads:

Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.
