15 Astounding Marvel Superheroes Who Were at The Doorstep of MCU

It’s astonishing to realize that Marvel has a library of over 8,000 characters with them and when you think of the business they’ve done with the idea of MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), the day isn’t too far when the only genre of movies there will be of – Superhero movies. Because the fan following they have and also the things filmmakers still have to show a lot of things because of the luxury which comics have given them. It is a really big-big thing but we can’t take away everything from the filmmakers as showing things on the big screen isn’t a cakewalk and not many have the ability to do things like this and with the perfection of successful also. So, it’s a really difficult task but MCU is pulling this task-off year after year, every year. The wave of Marvel has gone from the big screen to the small screen very frequently in recent years with Netflix in safe hands of Iron Fist, The Punisher, Luke Cage, Daredevil, and many others. ABC also isn’t far behind them as they also have Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Inhumans and many. But still, there are many Marvel superheroes out there that have a tremendous fan-following but couldn’t make their way onto the big-screen because of some reasons.

 1. CLEA:

Rachel McAdams has an interesting history and relationship with Marvel Cinematic Universe as she was approached by MCU for the role of Pepper Pots in the Iron Man. But the actress rejected the role even before thinking twice as maybe it was the call of destiny because some years later, MCU again approached the actress and this time it was for the movie Doctor Strange and she said ‘YES’.

All the fanverse of MCU started predicting the role she’s going to play and all of them wanted to see McAdams in the role of Stephen Strange’s love interest – Clea. The best part of the story was that Dormammu is the uncle of Clea and what fans wanted to see is a lover fighting for his love against her monstrous uncle who is against their love. Though it wasn’t meant like this then, we can surely see this happen in future.

 2. BETA RAY BILL:

It was the visage of Beta Ray Bill on the top of Grandmaster’s tower which was one of the coolest moments of the movie Thor: Ragnarok. It was an Easter egg people remember to this day clearly and maybe we all can get to see the great champion. It was disappointing not to see Beta Ray Bill in Thor: Ragnarok because it was Kevin Feige who said that Beta Ray Bill is going to make his appearance on the big-screen but revealed later that the scene has been cut because it’s not just the right time. But we all know that he’s really close in making an appearance on the big screen soon and his fight against Thor is the one we all are waiting to see.

 3. SHE-HULK:

It’s hard to hope for a Hulk movie coming anytime soon but rumors are still there in the rumor mill about the sequel of Incredible Hulk. Seeing someone else, other than Bruce Banner on the big-screen portraying Hulk is almost impossible and chances of his cousin Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk are on the charts and possible joining of She-Hulk in the MCU. Also, many actresses have shown their interest in portraying the role of She-Hulk as Angie Harmon of Rizzoli notably has come forward to play the role of She-Hulk. So, maybe we can get to see her and Hulk together in some time for sure.

 4. KAMALA KHAN:

Marvel Superheroes MCU

When John Ridley joined his hands with Marvel then the fans across the world started spreading rumours about the project of Kamala Khan aka. Ms. Marvel that it is going on the line. No official statement has been sent from the offices of Marvel but the hope is still intact because there’s still not an official ‘NO’ form the side of Marvel either and hence, fans are still hoping for a Ms. Marvel Show, and hopes and dreams of many are on the shoulders of John Ridley.

 5. BLADE:

Blade is a Dhampir, a human with vampire strengths but not their weaknesses, who protects humans from vampires. There were reports and rumors of Marvel considering the option of making a Blade Series for their Netflixverse but it was Kevin Feige who said that all these rumors aren’t right as we’re planning to call Blade in the MCU. But calm down your nerves as these are just plans and don’t expect an immediate announcement from the studios.

 6. MILES MORALES:

When Sony and Marvel joined their hands, the questions regarding the rumor of a white actor playing the role of Spider-Man just got all over the internet and that was the time when the name of David Glover came forward to play the role of Spider-Man. But Marvel selected Tom Holland to become the Spidey in “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, and Glover went on to play the role of Miles’ uncle. We couldn’t get any sight of Miles as the scene in which he calls the Miles over the phone, was cut down in the final production.

 7. NOVA:

Nathan Fillion has been linked to the role of Nova so many times in the past and present but still, it’s hard to find any concrete statement on the papers about this speculation. It all started way back at the time of Guardians of the Galaxy when talks of Nova Corps. coming in the movie were on high-alert. But all the rumors of Fillion coming on the big-screen and portraying the role of NOVA was banished by the actor himself. Still, we hope to see him portraying the role in a given future.

 8. RICK JONES:

He has been a sidekick to so many big superheroes but it’s Hulk with whom he shares all kinds of connections as he was just another character who was in the movie from the comics but never really appeared again on the big screen. Despite being the support system of many superheroes, he didn’t get an appearance in the movie and all he got was that his name appeared in the movie’s opening scene.

 9. AMADEUS CHO:

Amadeus Cho is an extremely brilliant student. Cho studies at Culter University. He works in the computer class by night and grants a visitor access to them in exchange for pizza. He’s a young genius, with a specialization in computer science. The Genius has had a cameo in the movie “The Incredible Hulk”. In the movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming we saw that the role Peter Parker’s professor Mr. Harrington was played by Martin Starr (mentioned as Computer Nerd in the movie). But as we all know that in the comics, the role Martin Starr portrayed was similar to Amadeus Cho. But despite all this confusion we still think that the nerd is still present in the MCU because in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” we saw that the mother of Amadeus Cho appears in the movie.

 10. TIGRA:

She was the only actress who’s been linked to three big roles when she was cast by MCU for Iron Man 2 as fans speculated that she will portray the role of Wasp, Scarlet Witch, or maybe Tigra. The actress was none other than Olivia Munn. With Tigra known as the member of West-coast Avengers and has also played a part with the Defenders, she has a great medium to be in the MCU. But it was Jon Favreau who played the role of reporter Chess Roberts.

 11. PALADIN:

Paladin is a mercenary and a private investigator whose part is largely unrevealed. When first seen, he sought Daredevil while engaged in an assignment to track down the Purple Man, and battled Daredevil. But despite having strong ties with The Defenders and Heroes for Hire, nothing official has been made about his incoming.

 12. JOHNNY BLAZE:

It all came as a big surprise with lots of happiness as Johnny Blaze a.k.a. Ghost Rider appeared in Season 4 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and was almost the main man for the first half of that particular season. The rumors suggested that he’s going to join the MCU but as people say “Something is always better than nothing” and with no solid reports about his incoming on the big-screen in the MCU, fans are more than happy to see him on the Netflixverse.

 13. SHANG-CHI:

There were reports in the past at the time of Iron Fist that an Asian actor is going to be cast as Shang-Chi by Marvel and has told that the character will get a spin-off if he’ll prove to be a success. But as we all know Shang-Chi hasn’t been anywhere in the Iron Fist and reports are there that Marvel is still finding out the way so that they can give the martial-arts man a chance.

 14. WONDER MAN:

Superheroes who have defeated Doctor Doom

Nathan Fillon was expected to make a cameo as Simon Williams, aka. Wonder Man in the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2, when on earth we see a Simon Williams Film Festival is going on in a theatre and there were six Easter egg-filled movie posters and all of them featured Nathan Fillion. But sadly, it couldn’t cross the line of post-production and was cut down. But James Gunn calmed the fans by stating that there are chances of his cameo in future.

 15. ADAM WARLOCK:

Adam Warlock is originally known as ‘Him’ or ‘Adam’ who was created by an Enclave to be part of a race of superhumans who would abolish war, illness, and crime. He uses his formidable powers to protect the universe. The incoming of this superhero is very much on the cards as in the post-credits scene of the “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2”, we saw Ayesha, who is the leader of Sovereign talking about “Adam Warlock” who was in his cocoon. But the planning of showing Adam Warlock was quite different as the producers were planning to reveal Adam as the pre-warning of the events of Avengers: Infinity War. But the idea was discarded by the producers as they did it when talks of Adam’s appearance in the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 reached its prime.
