Avengers: Infinity War – Here’s the Sad Truth About Doctor Strange

Infinity War was a massive crossover event which had so many things happening all at once. It was so hard to take in all that the movie had to offer and it was impossible for us as fans to be able to take that huge impact in one viewing. One of the reasons why this movie went past $2 Billion was because of the fact that people went and saw the movie multiple times! The likes of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor assembling with the fairly new characters like Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and Black Panther was great fun to witness.

Nick Fury Knew About the Thanos Snap Avengers 4

The movie blew our minds with so many amazing and unpredictable twists and turns. So many important things were happening in the movie that we actually missed the little details of the film. In the end, it was a sad day for the Avengers because this was the first time Thanos came in and in his very first movie, he became the one and only big bad who ended up defeating the Avengers and fulfilling his big mission.

Avengers: Infinity War Doctor Strange

Since the Avengers lost, we had to take in a very dark ending which showed us the death of our favourite characters. In fact, the film was full of Death and destruction right from the beginning. Heimdall began the death spree and he was followed by Loki. Then Gamora died at Vormir, Vision was killed by Thanos, and then came the moment we all feared. The big snap killed Bucky, T’Challa, Sam, Groot, Wanda, Star-Lord, Mantis, Drax, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Nick Fury and Maria Hill. The ones who were confirmed to survive were Captain America, Thor, Natasha, Tony, Bruce, War Machine, Rocket, Nebula, Okoye, and M’Baku.

It is sad to see that amongst ones who died in the film, many were not even ready for this kind of an outcome. None of the civilian population would have even imagined going out suddenly just like that! It is assumed that amongst half the population that got disintegrated those people would have had some big dreams in life, and all those were literally turned to dust just like that.

Even the heroes like Doctor Strange and Peter Parker were just about leading their normal lives. Pete was on an outing from school and seeing another alien Invasion, he stepped in to help Iron Man. Stark obviously tried to keep him out of danger, but then he gave a valid argument for saving his neighbourhood in order to be a friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man. And then we were all heartbroken to see him die.

Also if you think about it, Doctor Strange was also busy doing his thing. A fan from Reddit brings a little detail into our notice which was the fact that at the beginning of the movie, we saw that Doctor Strange was just about to go out and grab some sandwiches for himself and his colleague from the Sanctum, Wong. And just about the time when they were stepping out, Hulk smashed into their window telling them about the upcoming threat of Thanos.

From there on, it all turned to hell for Strange in particular. He had a one on one brawl with Ebony Maw, got tortured by him, went up against Thanos, had to hand over an Infinity Stone to him, and finally turn to dust. All that happened to him with an empty stomach! The poor guy just wanted to grab a nice peaceful meal and his life went ballistics before he could actually do that. One could argue that he might have got some sandwiches on his trip to Titan in the same way that he gave Thor a beer refill, but let’s just believe that he didn’t.

Wong, on the other hand, stayed behind to protect the Sanctorum, but he could actually have spared some time to fill his big stomach. So, good for him! The sad truth about movies like these is that havoc comes calling into the lives of people who just want to lead their normal peaceful lies. Even in Civil War, poor old Bucky was just out to get some plums, and he ended up being the main reason for an Avengers break up!

Now, let’s see what happens in Avengers 4 which will come out on May 3, 2019.
