You Won’t Believe Which Actor They Are Choosing to Play the Next James Bond!

Who doesn’t know the smart and suave James Bond!!! He is stylish. He is smooth with the ladies. He has the license to kill. As the secret weapon of British Intelligence, James Bond has all the qualities necessary to save the world multiple times from multiple nemeses. James Bond is a half a century old franchise and is just as strong when it comes to a worldwide fan base as Star Wars and Star Trek. Daniel Craig, Pierce Brosnan, Sean Connery, Timothy Dalton and the late Roger Moore have all made their mark as the MI6 ladies’ man. Now, there is one more piece of news for the James Bond fans. A new actor has been chosen to play the role of the British Super Spy. And he is the perfect choice for the role if you ask us. Presenting – You won’t believe which actor they have chosen to play the next James Bond!!

Next James Bond

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer owns the high fan favourite James Bond franchise.  And they were the ones who played a major hand in selecting this guy to play the next iteration of Mr Bond. At least that is what the rumours say. Can anybody guess which actor might be coming to play the role of Bond in the Big Screens?? Any guesses?

It is Idris Elba!! The guy who plays Heimdall in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the one that has been reportedly roped in for the role of James Bond. Idris Elba has slyly and subtly been giving hints that he might be the one that has been chosen by the overlords down at Hollywood. One of the recent developments regarding this rumour was Idris Elba sharing a cryptic tweet that caught the whole world’s attention. It goes something like this:

Can we trust the guy?? If his past record is any indication, we definitely should pay heed to what he is saying. He says a line pretty similar to what James Bond is heard a million times saying. Only this time, he puts his own name and surname in the process. So, should we hold a pinch of salt just in case??

Daniel Craig has already confirmed himself that he will be coming back to play the role of James Bond in the 25th instalment to the James Bond franchise. The female lead and supporting characters are still not finalised. So for now, we only have news regarding the lead character. Whether it will be Daniel Craig or Idris Elba is as good as anybody’s guess.

James Bond Producer Barbara Broccoli was heard saying an interesting piece of news to The Daily Star. In an interview with the famous Producer, The Daily Star reported that Antoine Fuqua, the director of the next James Bond movie, has been rumoured to have been asked by Broccoli herself to cast a non-white actor as James Bond for the movie. Idris Elba and Dev Patel were the two most likely candidates for the role if such a decision was taken.

If this happens, James Bond would truly become a Global Agent. He is no longer confined to the Caucasian confines of Old Britain. He becomes an Agent of the New World. We hope this news is true. Idris Elba later tweeted an old rap song of the title “Don’t Believe The Hype.” So we are still not sure where this little thing might be going. No more fake news people!! We want the truth and truth itself.

The Last James Bond movie starring Daniel Craig and Lea Seydoux in the lead role is called James Bond: Spectre. It was released on the 20th of December, 2015. The official film synopsis for the movie reads:
