This is a battle that needs to happen on the big screen somehow or in a video game somehow! Kratos is amongst the very few beings in the entire Universe who can really go toe to toe with the Mad Titan. The strength of these two is immense as they can easily take down the Hulk, so a battle between these two individuals is going to be long and brutal! Thanos Vs Kratos. Thanos
Thanos is notably the biggest villain the Avengers have ever had to face. He is the ultimate big bad of the entire Marvel universe and is famous for conquering entire universes in the multiverse. He just becomes unbeatable with the number of powers he has which are the Superhuman strength, durability, endurance, and intelligence, Energy manipulation, Telepathy, Telekinesis, teleportation, and Longevity. Along with this, Thanos gets hold of the Infinity Gauntlet which contains the 6 infinity stones that could wipe out the entire universe with just one blow.
He is known as the Mad Titan by the galactic community and the Dark Lord by his most loyal underlings. He is a very powerful cosmic warlord that rules over a very distant region in outer space. Along with all the powers mentioned above, he commands two massive armies known as the Chitauri and the Outriders. Along with his armies, his loyal generals who are also his children in the MCU are a part of his very evil Black Order. The members of The Black Order include Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw, Cull Obsidian and Corvus Glaive. He is also the father of Nebula and Gamora, and with the use of the Infinity Stones, he can control all of these individuals together and with the powers of this unified team combined, he could take out any being in the entire multiverse.
Kratos
Kratos is a Demigod within the Greek Mythology. He is the son of the mighty Zeus. He got the status of a God as he became the God of War, but his lust for more power made his father kill him. He was later resurrected from Hades himself, and now he seeks revenge from all the Olympian Gods that had a part in taking his life.
“Death is my calling. Vengeance my creed. I will wash away the past. With the blood of Olympus! CHAOS WILL RISE AGAIN!”
Being the God of War, Kratos is a fierce warrior and is well trained in hand to hand combat and with ancient weaponry. He is immensely powerful as he possesses Superhuman strength, Speed, Agility and durability. Having his heritage with the Spartan race along with the Gods, The Rage of Sparta has always flown through his veins which grants him near invulnerability for a brief period of time.
He possesses a two-handed magical war axe known as the Leviathan. It is no ordinary Axe as the powers of frost and cold come along with it, enabling the God of War to freeze any opponent with it and just like Thor’s hammer Mjolnir, it can be recalled from any distance. Other than his Axe, Kratos possesses the Blade of Artemis, Blades of Athena and the Spear of Destiny.
Thanos Vs Kratos
A brawl between these two Gods will be extremely colossal! Along with immense strength, both these individuals possess weapons are which are extremely lethal in when used in a fight. The God of War is a fierce warrior and Thanos is also a galactic warlord, so if the two were to be engaged in a battle of mere strength without making the use of any weapons, the fierce battle amongst the two may actually see Kratos standing at last.
Even without the Infinity Gauntlet, we cannot count Thanos out, but the strength that Kratos actually gets with the Spartan Rage flowing within him is actually much more than that of Thanos. When it comes to a battle using the Godly weapons that both these individuals possess, Kratos will really have to fight smart and long, playing on defense. He has to wait for his opportunities to attack in order to win. One bad move and Thanos will gain control using the Gauntlet.
So there you have it, Thanos would surely win with the use of Infinity Gauntlet against the Leviathan while Kratos would win if it is a fist fight!
