Spider-Man: Homecoming was the first solo Spider-Man movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As we all know, Spider-Man made his debut in the first movie of Phase 3, Captain America: Civil War. The movie introduced Spidey into the MCU in the best way possible as his character arc was really great, to begin with. Then Spider-Man was fully established in Homecoming and we got a new potential big gun for the MCU in phase 4 which Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Spider-Man: Homecoming was the first solo Spider-Man movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As we all know, Spider-Man made his debut in the first movie of Phase 3, Captain America: Civil War. The movie introduced Spidey into the MCU in the best way possible as his character arc was really great to begin with. Then Spider-Man was fully established in Homecoming and we got a new potential big gun for the MCU in phase 4.
Now Far From Home is going to up the ante as it will do something we have never seen in any other Spider-Man movie as of now, which is taking Spider-Man out of New York. As we all know, Spider and New York go hand in hand and Spidey 2 will take Peter far from home to London. Peter is going to be out on his summer vacation this time around and his secret identity may be vulnerable this time around, as Spider-Man traveling to London along with Peter is going to be a coincidence that many people may not believe.
Well, the big question before this movie actually is that how exactly will Peter Parker return from the dead? He was the last Super to get disintegrated after the Big Snap of Thanos. He will be back in Avengers 4 for sure as the first set photos of Spider-Man: Far From Home have already hit the net. So the big question is that what have the Russos decided relating to the revival of Peter? Will it actually be a revival? Are the souls of all the disintegrated heroes in the Soul Stone? Will the multiverse bring a doppelganger of Peter Parker from a different Earth? Or will the very likely time travel kick in, preventing the Snap from every happening?
All these questions will be answered in Avengers 4 next year. What we do know is that the event of Avengers 4 will directly lead to Spidey 2 and Far From Home will be just weeks after Avengers 4, introducing us to Phase 4 of MCU. Let’s just keep all the questions we have about Peter’s return aside and focus on the real matter, which is the debut of the first set photos from London. Marvel hasn’t officially announced the production for the movie, so this could very well be a pre-shooting day, or it could mean that production did begin today! Here, check them out.

It is safe to say that Peter actually looks a little mature over here, which also plays a little with the character development after the time that has passed between Homecoming and Far From Home. A new theory has also come into light saying that since Marvel and Sony have a contract of having two more MCU heroes in the Spider-Man solo film, it is highly likely that a new hero may be introduced in this movie.
Since Phase 4 is going to establish Marvel from a new leaf and Spider-Man is going to London, the new theory suggests that Captain Britain will actually be introduced in this movie. Honestly, this would be really awesome as Captain Britain will not just expand the foreign Superheroes division, but since Spidey and he has teamed up numerous times in the comics, it would be a perfect stage to introduce him into the mix of MCU.
In Captain Britain doesn’t come in, then it is highly likely that Miles Morales, the second Spidey will be brought in to set up the Spider-verse after he was teased in Homecoming. On the villain’s part, it has been rumored that Mysterio is going to be the big bad. Also, Gwen Stacy is said to be introduced in the movie. Spider-Man: Far From Home hits the theatres on July 5, 2019.
