Sebastian Stan Aka The Winter Soldier Shares Rare Picture of his “1940s Screen Test”!!!

We all know who Sebastian Stan is. He is the Winter Soldier, the only guy who caught the shield thrown by none other than Cap himself. He is Steve Rogers’ best friend and greatest confidante (Sorry, Mr. Stark). He was the guy who drove the entire team of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes aka the Avengers to fight amongst each other in Captain America: Civil War. But do you think you really know all there is to know about Bucky Barnes? We beg to differ. Believe it or not, the Winter Soldier was already present in the World War 2 era of Captain America. Still having doubts? Let us clear them. Presenting Sebastian Stan aka the Winter Soldier shares rare picture of his “1940s Screen Test”!!!

Sebastian Stan is a social media savvy guy who knows how to cater best to his fans. In his recent post, he shares a rare pic of Winter Soldier in a 1940’s garb along with the tone of the picture resonating with that time period. Whether it is World War Two, the Cold War or the Modern Era, Sebastian Stan knows how to slay anytime, anywhere. Just before Avengers: Infinity War is gearing up for an anticipated home release; Sebastian Stan shared this pic of his online.

Stan appeared first in the role of Bucky Barnes in Captain America: The First Avenger. While that role was a supporting one and Stan’s character supposedly died in the movie, his character has evolved into a multi-faceted one with lots of layers and depth. Sebastian Stan was one of the many newcomer superheroes who died at the hands of Thanos at the end of the Infinity War saga. The plot of Captain America: The First Avenger reads:

It is 1941 and the world is in the throes of war. Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) wants to do his part and join America’s armed forces, but the military rejects him because of his small stature. Finally, Steve gets his chance when he is accepted into an experimental program that turns him into a supersoldier called Captain America. Joining forces with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), Captain America leads the fight against the Nazi-backed HYDRA organization.

Sebastian Stan’s smoldering look as he looks at the camera shows him in his traditional Winter Soldier garb. The Photo must have been previously taken as a regular photo shoot was in session and then the necessary tones were applied to it to make it look more authentic to the World War 2 era. His Vibranium left arm is the highlight of the pic, as the arm shines even brighter under darker tones.

Stan Appeared as the Winter Soldier for the first time in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The official film synopsis for The Winter Soldier reads:

Joining forces with the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and a new ally, the Falcon, Rogers struggles to expose an ever-widening conspiracy, but he and his team soon come up against an unexpected enemy.

Sebastian Stan Aka The Winter Soldier

Does this mean Stan aka Bucky Barnes becomes the Winter Soldier right after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger? Hard to tell right now! What we do know is that the guy is returning back to the MCU one way or another. He is one of the toughest guys to take down in the Marvel Universe and for him to go down like that just with a ‘snap’ is too incomplete an arc for him.
