Spider-Man: Far From Home is pretty far away from us for now but it has begun production and we can be happy that Peter Parker will be back even though he died in Infinity War. Since he is going to be in Far From Home, Avengers 4 will surely bring him back. So, we could believe that all other Disintegrated characters would also return in MCU.
The makers of the two Avengers movies claim that these disintegrated heroes are permanently dead, and because Avengers 4 is going to be a time travel event, the Avengers may go to the past and actually prevent the big snap from ever happening. So this is how Marvel will probably keep their word as these characters would be permanently dead in this timeline, but the alternate timeline(s) created would have different future(s) for all the dusted characters.
At the end of Infinity War, we saw that many of the Superheroes including the future franchise holders turned to dust. We saw the effects of the snap on the outer world as well in the post-credits scene as a lot of civilians perished, and along with them went down Marvel’s big character of relevance since Phase 1, Nick Fury. So, with all the other characters, Nick Fury should also return in Avengers 4.
He is going to be in Captain Marvel having both his eyes open, and we will be seeing him in his younger days during the 90s as he will be playing an Agent of SHIELD. But we have more or less got a confirmation from Samuel L Jackson himself that not only is he going to be back for Avengers 4, but he will also be coming back for Phase 4 of the MCU.
While most of the big characters from the first 3 Phases are going to be gone after Avengers 4, it seems that Nick Fury will not be one of them. Captain Marvel has already been shot and now, Sam L. has taken to his Instagram to post something we all never expected.
This photo teases him being back as the Nick Fury we know him to be. Now since Avengers 4 is currently being edited and Captain Marvel has finished production, the only movie Fury must be teasing here is Spider-Man: Far From Home because that movie is currently being shot and Marvel may have reached out to Jackson to reprise his role in the movie.
This may just be a coy from Jackson just to play with our brains, but it rather not be just that. Jackson loves his role in Marvel and he wasn’t happy that he was not called for Civil War or the movie where all “black” characters came in, Black Panther. He wasn’t sure whether he will be in the two Avengers movies, but we got to see set photos that confirmed that he will be back. As it turned out, it was in the Post Credits scene.
Now, you may be thinking that what role Fury could be playing in a Spider-Man story. Well, we have to admit that the only thing that comes to our mind thinking of Fury in Far From Home is the Spider-Man Ultimates cartoon. He would probably be representing SHIELD once again as it’ll be back in some shape or form in Avengers 4.
Since Marvel has a deal with Sony to put in 2 MCU characters in every solo Spider-Man movie, Fury may actually be a part of that deal. Robert Downey Jr. will not be back in this Spider-Man sequel, so Fury could easily replace him as a mentor for Peter, guiding him to do the right thing, just like he did during Phase 1 and Phase 2.
Far From Home is going to up the ante as it will do something we have never seen in any other Spider-Man movie as of now, which is taking Spider-Man out of New York. As we all know, Spider and New York go hand in hand and Spidey 2 will take Peter far from home to London. Peter is going to be out on his summer vacation this time around and his secret identity may be vulnerable this time around, as Spider-travelling to London along with Peter is going to be a coincidence that many people may not believe.
The movie comes out on July 5, 2019.
