The Next Arrowverse Crossover is Not Going to Include a Major Superhero Show

If you do not know what the Arrowverse is, you should not call yourself a superhero fan. If you do not know what an Arrowverse Crossover is, you should not call even call yourself a Homo Sapien!! When it comes to the movies, the Marvel Cinematic Universe reigns supreme in terms of popularity and the Box Office. And when it is about the Superhero TV Shows, no TV network comes even close in comparison to the popularity of the Arrowverse shows namely – The Arrow, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Super Girl. Black Lightning is not canon to the Arrowverse and it is still counted within the ranks of the Arrowverse.

The next Arrowverse Crossover is about to happen and it will bring us back to the extravaganza and superhero cheesiness that has always been the thing that made the Arrowverse crossovers sell and achieve ultimate popularity. But do you know one of those shows won’t be taking part in the grand crossover event of The CW? Presenting – The Next Arrowverse Crossover is not going to include a MAJOR Superhero show!!!!

In what has become a yearly tradition of sorts, the Arrowverse Crossover features the superheroes from all the Major DC TV Universe shows banding together to save the Earth and the Universe from cosmic level threats. It all began with the Arrow vs. The Flash event four years ago. Then it included the Dominators Invasion arc and the last one was the critically acclaimed ‘Crisis on Earth X’ crossover event. The former was about aliens coming to Earth to destroy Earth in retaliation for The Flash messing with the timeline during The Flash season 4 Flashpoint arc.

The latter was about a parallel Nazi Earth where an evil version of Green Arrow, Super Girl, and the likes of the counterparts of every major superhero invaded the mainstream Arrowverse reality for their own selfish reasons. Each Arrowverse crossover has met with widespread acclaim and has been extremely well received. And sadly, this time it will be utterly incomplete as one of the primary Arrowverse shows won’t be participating in it.

Do you want to know exactly which show are we talking about? Exactly which show is it that has been dishonorably discharged from the next Arrowverse Crossover?!?! Any guesses?????

It is DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. In the next Arrowverse Crossover event, the superheroes and supporting characters from The Flash, Arrow and Super Girl and reportedly even Black Lightning might also be participating but the time-traveling crew of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow are most probably not. But what reason does The CW have for excluding arguably the best TV Show in The Arrowverse right now from the greatest Arrowverse event?? There has to be a good enough reason CW. We are all waiting for as of right now, we don’t have one.

The news of Batwoman joining the Arrowverse spread like wildfire in a bush-land. Kate Kane will be coming to the Arrowverse soon and will soon feature in her own show within the Arrowverse, thus increasing the number of show’s headcount in the shared superhero TV Universe to 6. With Kate Kane being a lesbian, everyone was waiting for the Crossover to see Kate Kane and Sarah Lance aka White Canary of the Legends in the same screen. Sadly, this will never happen. We sure hope CW comes back to its senses and turns on their own decision of excluding the Legends from the Crossover.

The third season of the Legends of Tomorrow has already been aired. The fourth season of Legends of Tomorrow will air this year after a few months. The official synopsis for the next season of the show reads:

After defeating the demon Mallus by cuddling him to death with a giant stuffed animal named Beebo, the Legends are ready to ease off the gas. Sara and her team join Ava Sharpe and the Time Bureau to help clean up the last few remaining anachronisms. The job seems straightforward enough until Constantine arrives to inform them that, in solving one major problem, they have created another, much larger one. When the Legends let time crumble in order to release and defeat Mallus, the barrier between worlds softened. History is now infected with “Fugitives” – magical creatures from myths, fairytales, and legends. Having been expelled throughout time by people like Constantine, these Fugitives are now returning to our world in droves and making a real mess of things. As the Time Bureau is distrustful of and ill-equipped to deal with magic, the Legends must team up with everyone’s favorite demonologist to set history back on track.

Arrowverse Crossover is Not Going to Include a Major Superhero Show

Sara and Constantine are joined by compassionate inventor Ray Palmer, hotheaded ex-con Mick Rory, rebellious totem-bearer Zari, and heartbroken historian-turned-superhero Nate as they set out to save the world – and their legacy. It’s the familiar fun of the Legends time-traveling across historical events and encountering famous figures with an added shot of magical craziness.
