Every Mission: Impossible – Fallout Trailer Scene That Don’t Appear in the Movie

The Mission Impossible franchise has scored yet another home run with the sixth installment to the franchise titled Mission Impossible: Fallout. The movie is filled with action, adventure, gadgets and a hell of a lot of Tom Cruise. When the trailer for the movie was released during the Super Bowl, everyone thought Mission Impossible was going to be the greatest Box Office hit of this year when it comes to action flicks. And the movie delivered on its promise. Fallout is a worthy addition to the MI franchise. But do you know there were a few scenes from the trailer that have never made it to the movies?!?! Presenting – Mission Impossible Fallout – Awesome Scenes from the trailer that never made it to theatres!!!

A lot of the scenes shown in the trailers did make it to the movies. The famous HALO jump which Tom Cruise did by himself as well as the Helicopter chase scene that everybody loved did hit the big screens. Most of the scenes featuring Henry Cavill also were a part of the theatrical cut. The following article will tell you about the scenes you missed out on in the two and a half hour long movie. Brace yourselves.

SPOILER ALERT: Major Spoilers for Mission Impossible Fallout up ahead. Enter at your own risk….

The Pakistan Scene

When Ethan Hunt and his team realize that Agent Walker is a Double Agent and is a part of Solomon Kane’s Apostles, they decide to travel to South East Asia to confront Kane’s primary hideout. In their company is also MI6’s Agent Ilsa (Rebecca Ferguson). They encounter a pile of dead Pakistani armed forces bodies as Ethan Hunt decides to investigate a mysterious base while holding a pistol. The Apostle Base was supposed to give them the location of the two nuclear bombs and that of Agent Walker and Kane. Since the movie already showed they knew where the bad guys were, this scene made no sense.

The Helicopter Truck Crash scene

The climax of the movie came when Ethan Hunt tried to pilot a Helicaopter and grab the detonator from Agent Walker in another plane. Ethan knows nothing about how to drive a Helicopter and yet somehow, he still manages to stay airborne and get the detonator at the last second. The audience were all at the edge of their seat during the whole scene. But it could have been even more awesome if the scene shown in the Super Bowl Teaser that depicted Hunt almost ramming his chopper into a Truck would have been displayed in the theatres.

The CIA prefers a hammer

When Agent Walker chimes into the scene along with his superior, we know bad things are about to happen. Agent Ethan Hunt is a member of the Impossible Mission Force and a well-known figure in the espionage and clandestine organisations scenario of the world.  After 5 long adventures of endangering millions of lives in the name of an adrenaline rush, the CIA has finally had enough. They come to the IMF Chief just before he is about to board a plane and tell them that Ethan Hunt is no longer the man he was and the IMF is a thing of the past. The CIA claim that they prefer Walker’s hammer over Hunt’s Scalpel approach to things.

The Super bowl teaser was a rough diamond and the movie shot callers had to edit a lot of stuff to make it what it looks like right now. We cannot complain too much as it still came out as awesome. So no hard feelings, Tom Cruise!! It is just that we wanted to see these scenes as well. Maybe a Directors’ Cut will clear the air once and for all?? Maybe, just maybe!!
