Here’s What Happened in the Deleted Hitler Post Credits Scene of Deadpool 2

Deadpool 2 was sheer excellence. We’d think that how can they top the class of the first Deadpool but to their credit, they actually did! Deadpool 2 was bigger, better, funnier and sexier than the one we got before. It was a complete package as it had really insane humour as you would laugh throughout the movie. Along with that, the movie had tonnes of Easter Eggs and a lot of surprise cameos which actually added to the humour, really crisp action sequences (well that came with the best Action director attached), emotion, great character building and one of the most typical Deadpool (awesome) endings you could ever imagine.

The movie ended on a very high note, and then the Post Credits scene gave us the complete Deadpool feel that no one actually expected. Deadpool 2’s End Credits showed us Deadpool using Cable’s now repaired Time Machine, courtesy of Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and travelling back in time for some ‘course correction.’ Deadpool travels back to a lot of events in the past, the first of which was travelling back to the day when Vanessa was killed and saving her, thus rendering any and all events that happened in Deadpool 2, moot. But Deadpool did not stop there. He travels much more through the time stream and makes sure he undoes some of his other mistakes.

He actually went to an alternate Universe and an alternate reality altogether. Because it is Deadpool, we should not try to make any sense out of it, and just enjoy. He went to X-Men Origins: Wolverine killed the horrific alternate version of him and then, he actually shot Ryan Reynolds in the head right after he happily read the script of the Green Lantern movie.

The scene was just perfect, but there was yet another Post Credits scene that the movie almost made happen, and it actually involved Adolf Hitler. The scene would have been amazing, but it was so extreme that it was cut from the theatrical version of the film. The scene as it was reported when the movie came out would have involved Deadpool actually going back to the past when Hitler was just born, and he would have killed the baby Hitler saving the world from all of his atrocities.

Because of the extremeness of the film, it was deleted from the theatrical cut, but as the movie is getting a Super Duper Cut (extended cut) for its BluRay release, soon we all will be able to watch the scene ourselves. Well, some lucky fans who attended Comic-Con actually got a look at this particular scene as the presentation at the Deadpool 2 Hall H panel ended with the grand unveiling of the infamous baby Hitler scene.

Deleted Post Credits Scene of Deadpool 2

The scene starts with Deadpool entering the nursery where baby Hitler has been kept, and there he is caught off guard by how difficult the task is even though he knows that what he is about to do is going to end the suffering of the entire world. He takes his time, gains confidence and then right before he actually does the unthinkable, he recites his catchphrase and leans in to choke Hitler with “Maximum effort.” We don’t actually see him choking a baby as it all happens from Hitler’s point-of-view as Deadpool moves in for the kill.

This scene could actually change everything for the future of the Deadpool Universe as not only will the world be saved from the savagery of Führer, but it could also completely deny the entire plot of the film. The whole movie was about portraying Deadpool to be against any violence when it comes to kids as he dedicated himself to saving young Russell from being killed by Cable even though Cable claimed the fact that Russell will go on to become a tyrant in the future.

Here’s the official Synopsis of the film:

“Wisecracking mercenary Deadpool meets Russell, an angry teenage mutant who lives at an orphanage. When Russell becomes the target of Cable — a genetically enhanced soldier from the future — Deadpool realizes that he’ll need some help saving the boy from such a superior enemy. He soon joins forces with Bedlam, Shatterstar, Domino and other powerful mutants to protect young Russell from Cable and his advanced weaponry”.
