Kevin Feige Hints How The Quantum Realm Will Be Used In The Future

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been the brainchild of its president Kevin Feige. We have already seen 19 movies be successful in the MCU and the 20th movie, Ant-Man and the Wasp is on its way to lighten the mood and bridge the gap between Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4. Ant-Man and the Wasp is said to lead right into Avengers 4, which means that the Quantum Realm will have a major role to play in Avengers 4 after it gets fully explained in Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Ant-Man and the Wasp quantum-realm

From the trailers, marketing material, and the synopsis, we know that the Quantum Realm I surely going to be explored fully in the upcoming Ant-Man sequel. The movie will focus upon bringing back Janet Van Dyne back from the Quantum Realm and we will be explained more about this place after it was teased in the first Ant-Man movie. Since Space and Time are irrelevant in this real, it is rumored that this is how we will see the Quantum Realm be used in Avengers 4.

The first reactions of the upcoming sequel really gave us a knowhow as to what we should expect from the film. The movie is said to be a completely surprising event and we should totally expect the unexpected. It is said to be really self-contained with major connections happening through the end of the movie. It explores the villain(s) in a really smart and cunning way and overall, the movie is being called the best sequel in the MCU, at par with the likes of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Also, this movie brings in the crazy and insane visual effects just like Doctor Strange, and the only place that may happen would be the Quantum Realm because in the two movies that we have seen the Quantum Realm have a presence, we did notice the fact that it was visually different and stunning.

Comicbook.com’s Brandon Davis was recently able to be present at a special conference of Ant-Man and the Wasp, and not only did he watch the movie through Press screenings, he also got to have a word with the President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige where he opened up about the Quantum Realm’s future in the MCU. Feige talks about the way Quantum Realm was used in Ant-Man and the Wasp, and he also teased that it may be used in the future MCU movies as well. Here’s what Feige said:

“There are things that you see back there that Peyton has put in there. Where and how they pay off in the near term and the long term remains to be seen.”

Well, this was perhaps a tease for the upcoming Avengers 4, and other future films that the Quantum Realm could play a part are only Doctor Strange 2 and an Ant-Man 3. Both these movies are a little far away from us as of now, and right now all the focus will surely be upon Avengers 4. Theories made up from the set photos that we have seen till now say that the movie will have major involvement of Time Travel, and the questionable devices that we see very prominently on the hands of Ant-Man, Captain America and Tony will probably be useful for traveling through the Quantum Realm in time.

Let’s see what really the case would be. By now, we do know that people cannot afford to miss Ant-Man and the Wasp because it will probably be one of the most important movies in the MCU Phase 3, as it is going to lead directly into Avengers 4. The movie comes out on July 6, and here’s the official Synopsis:

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: “Ant-Man and The Wasp.” In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.”
