Another Deleted Scene From Black Panther Released And It Is Even Better

Black Panther created history by becoming the highest grossing Superhero movie in the US as it has grossed $688 Million in the US itself going past the first Avengers movie which grossed $623 Million. It is probably the best origin story any superhero could ever have, and it even became the highest rated Superhero movie on Rotten Tomatoes having a massive score of 97% given by the critics.

Ryan Coogler created a movie that we will remember for decades now as this movie was everything you would want in a great Superhero origin story. It had action, humor, drama, inventive creativity, and a really simple & amazing storyline. Having all this, the movie was really enhanced by the set of actors who appeared in the movie. Chadwick Boseman was obviously amazing as Black Panther but the actors who appeared in the movie lifted every scene.

Actors like Forest Whitaker (Zuri), Danai Gurira (Okoye), Winston Duke (M’Baku), Letitia Wright (Shuri), Angela Basset (Queen Mother Ramonda), Martin Freeman (Everett K Ross), Andy Serkis (Ulysses Klaw), Lupita Nyong’o (Nakia) and Daniel Kaluuya (W’Kabi) really set the screen on fire, as they were so powerful that sometimes they even took over Chadwick Boseman’s presence as T’Challa.

Yesterday, Marvel released the first deleted scene from Black Panther which was really powerful hitting the emotions but did not really fit in the movie. Here, have a look:

The scene included Daniel Kaluuya’s W’Kabi and Danai Gurira’s Okoye who turned out to be secret lovers in the movie. It would have followed the scene where T’Challa was thrown off the Waterfall cliff during the combat ritual by Killmonger. Assuming T’Challa to be dead, Killmonger became the ruler of the technologically advanced nation, Wakanda.

This scene showed W’Kabi arguing with Okoye about the methods of Killmonger and how the world may be affected. Okoye warned about the Wakandans becoming the conquerors of the world which may not be so beautiful after what the Wakandans may do to it. W’Kabi countered by arguing that by conquering the world, the Wakandans would proudly show what they are and will create a world that is beautiful and severe justice.

The same justice which his mother and father did not get for the last 30 years as T’Chaka and now T’Challa were both not able to catch Klaw, who was responsible for the death of W’Kabi’s parents and many other Wakandans. The scene ends giving us a hint and possibly revealing that W’Kabi and Okoye are lovers.

This scene didn’t really fit in the movie even though we may find it to be really great and powerful. Just as good as this one, Marvel has released another deleted scene from the movie in which T’Challa shares memories of his Late father T’Chaka. Here, have a look:

The scene opens after T’Challa’s first Ritual Combat in which he beat M’Baku and became the King of Wakanda. We see T’Challa coming back from the world of the Panther Goddess Bast which has the souls of all the previous Black Panthers and even the Wakandans. T’Challa tells Zuri about his father’s presence in the afterlife.

Then the scene changes as T’Challa talks to Zuri about his father’s memories. T’Challa tells Zuri how T’Chaka taught him to be the Black Panther, how he was so powerful that he could lift a grown man with just one hand, run as fast as a Zebra. He tells Zuri that T’Chaka passed the mantle of the Black Panther to him and continued to be the King until T’Challa’s time came. Zuri tells T’Challa that T’Chaka did not wear the suit any more as he had grown too fat for it. The scene ended with the two talking about how unpredictable the outside world is.

Deleted Scene From Black Panther

This scene was really emotional even though it answered why T’Challa was the Black Panther even though T’Chaka still sat on the throne of Wakanda. But still, Coggler could not find the time to put this scene in the movie as it added more story to the movie and kind of slowed the pace down a little bit.

Black Panther also shows up in Avengers: Infinity War which is currently playing in the theatres. Go check it out.
