The New Set Photo of Avengers 4 May Have Revealed Major Storyline

The greatest comic-book event is taking cinematic shape and is ready to wow the audiences. It is divided into two parts – Avengers Infinity War and Untitled Avengers 4. According to Marvel boss Kevin Feige, the title of the Avengers 4 can’t be revealed now as it is a massive spoiler.

The first movie is about how the Mad Titan along with his Black Order (Children of Thanos) will steal Infinity gems and assemble the Infinity Gauntlet to become the ultimate ruler of cosmos. The second movie will be about how Team Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy join forces against Thanos and save the planet.

We have been far too patient waiting for this final culmination of the MCU. As Marvel finally seeks to end their first major series arc with Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4, fans can no longer wait to the watch the earth’s mightiest heroes take on the Mad Titan in the battle to determine the fate of the universe.

In the words of Kevin Feige, Avengers Infinity War films will provide finality to all the previous phases of MCU. It will bring closure to many of the plots and storylines that are unresolved. He put it eloquently and said:

“I think you look at the comics as a guide, although some titles get rebooted or re-launched, the narrative exist on a never-ending continuum”.

As the time elapses (painstakingly slow, I might add)  our patience wears thin so we grasp at any details that we can gather. In the same spirit, we at quirkybyte have been vigilant for any new developments during the production and shooting of the new Avengers movie. Recently IGN uncovered this set picture, please take a look:-

Did you notice anything? There is nothing to notice, you say. It’s just a set photo of a crew member holding an orange box with some illegible bullshit on it. Boo! Fans should be more eagle-eyed. Look closely, my fellow comic enthusiasts because that is not illegible bullshit written on the box. The wordings say “Binarily Augmented Retro-farming” or B.A.R.F. Doesn’t sound familiar. Don’t worry, that’s why I’m here.

We were introduced to this piece of technology in Captain America: Civil War. Yes, it’s is cutting edge stark tech. No, it’s not a fancy name for the new spider suit. The Binarily Augmented retro framing technology allows it’s user to relive their memories. Ding ding ding !!, there you go, the pieces finally fall into place.

The first time we saw this technology was in the hands of Tony Stark at the MIT Alumni meet at the start of Civil War. What you must know about the technology is that Tony used it to relive his final moments with his parents before their tragic accident that was the cause of death of Howard Stark in the MCU.

The entire BARF thing is also important because it was the technology that enabled Tony to uncover the truth about his parents’ death.

Although Stark introduced the technology as a therapeutic measure, it clearly has military applications. Stark industries stopped manufacturing weapons for the military back in Iron Man 1, in fact, it was a major plot point of the movie, and largely the cause Iron Man stands for.

Now as the technology re-surfaces in Avengers Infinity War it’s safe to assume that stark is the one using it. Infinity War chronicles the struggle of Earth’s mightiest heroes The Avengers against the Mad Titan Thanos, it is a suffrage against the conqueror for the cause of six singularities of immense power.

These singularities are known throughout the MCU as infinity gems. Here’s what the Collector has to say:

“Before creation itself, there were six singularities. Then the universe exploded into existence, and the remnants of these systems were forged into concentrated ingots… Infinity Stones.”

In the current scenario, the only reason for using the Binarily Augmented Retro-framing device is to gain a tactical advantage over Thanos. But the Avengers have never faced off against the Titan before, our MCU heroes are not even virtually aware of the threat headed their way. But that’s where you’re wrong, oh naive one.

Back in Avengers 1, Loki led an army of the Chitauri to invade and conquer earth. For this conquest of his, Loki was given a staff and he stole the tesseract from Asgard’s royal vault.

But who gave Loki all his toys, it was Thanos, of course. And as Avengers 1 ended we saw Stark go through the portal in space and come face to face with the Chitauri mothership and possibly a disgruntled Thanos watching over the entire battle.

That’s it. That’s the catch. Not only we uncovered previous set photos of our heroes sporting costumes from the first Avengers we’ve now also found a link to the technology that uncovers the reason for the vintage costumes.

It is highly likely that Tony Stark uses the B.A.R.F. to relive the New York battle to gain further insight into the battle yet to come.

Avengers

Iron Man was possibly the only member of the core Avengers team to end up in an indirect confrontation with Thanos and any information the team can get, no matter how insignificant it might seem, must be strategically collected and cataloged. That is the only way our beloved heroes survive the upcoming war.

Here’s official description of ‘Avengers Infinity War’ given by the Marvel studio:

“Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment”.

Recently, it released two separate synopses of the Infinity War, one from Thanos’ perspective and another from Team Avengers. Here’s the first one:

“As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain”.

The latest synopsis is as under:

“An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.

Avengers Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018, and is arguably the most awaited comic book movie of all time. It is going to be directed by Russo Brothers and produced by Marvel boss Kevin Feige. The Executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The screenplay is written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely.
