The CW network has given the viewers primetime entertainment value like none other. Only a few could match the network’s mammoth TRP ratings in term of their own shows’ Popularity. AMC and SyFy are the only two channels that have envy chance of competing against The CW in terms of TRP ratings. The rest of the channels have been relegated to secondary status. The CW is the current king of the small screen entertainment and is second to none when it comes to fan following.
The CW has given us the one thing that the other channels envy the most – The Arrowverse. All four shows that make up this shared superhero universe are TRP juggernauts and rake in massive views and clicks whenever and wherever they air. The Arrow, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Super Girl are all popular superhero shows and, more or less, the face of The CW network. Another Superhero is about to join the network. Although The CW claims Black Lightning won’t be a part of the Arrowverse, fans are ecstatic to watch another superhero in their favorite channel kicking ass and saving the day. But The CW is not just known for its superheroes. It has a shitload of shows that govern and absolutely rule the supernatural, horror and mystery genre. Supernatural – the show about the life and exploits of the Hunter duo, Sam, and Dean Winchester is also one hell of a popular show. It has already spanned 11 seasons and is going strong on its 12th. iZombie is also another popular show that has completed three seasons and filming for a fourth is currently underway.
Riverdale was one of The CW’s sleeper hits last year. The mystery-drama spin-off from the Archie comic strips has wrapped the internet around its pinky. Archie comics were famous for exploring the supernatural and paranormal. The show dumped all those elements and took a bold move. They made Riverdale into a high school crime thriller with a whodunit murder-suspense element. The Gamble paid off and the fans just couldn’t get enough of it. Riverdale is one of The CW’s last year’s greatest hits.
Let us have a look at the timetable for The CW’s shows returns to prime time entertainment:
The Arrowverse wrapped up with its Christmas episodes and fans are eagerly waiting for the next installments to their favorite superhero shows.

However, when he discovers one of Cayden’s secrets, he decides to team up with an unlikely ally. Meanwhile, Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) spends time with Vince (guest star Johann Urb).

Legends of Tomorrow won’t be returning this month. They will return on February 12th after the winter break. The official name or the Synopsis for Episode 10 of Season 3 hasn’t been released yet.
Black Lightning, a superhero who is forced out of retirement when the criminal elements become too much for the authorities to handle will take up the Legends slot. Black Lightning will air just behind The Flash. The Pilot Episode will air on January 16th and is titled ‘The Resurrection’.
Supernatural will air its midseason premiere on January 18th at 8 pm right after its Arrowverse co-stars. The episode is titled ‘Wayward Sisters’. The Episode could give birth to a spinoff provided the Supernatural garners enough ratings to convince the network that it has potential.
Riverdale returns on January 17th with ‘Chapter Twenty Three: The Blackboard Jungle’. The episode will see Southside High students joining the Riverdale High after the former’s school is shut down.
iZombie has already completed its three-season run and has been renewed for a fourth. Filming will begin somewhere around April, the same time the last season of the show aired on The CW.
