Avengers: Infinity War Will Feature Comic Book Accurate Iron Spider Armor

Avengers Infinity War will be the grandest comic-book extravaganza ever put together by any studio. There will be over 40 Marvel superheroes who will band together against the Mad Titan Thanos and his Black Order to prevent precious Infinity gems from falling into his hands as it will make him the ultimate ruler of entire cosmos.

With Peter Parker finally back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a world of possibilities have opened up for future Marvel Movies. Superhero crossovers, which were only a dream, in the 90s, have become a reality almost 30 years later.

The Marvel Universe’s ever-expanding roster of cool superheroes is the thing to be envied by each and every other studio that isn’t Disney in the movie-making industry. Avengers: Infinity War will be the culmination of everything the Marvel Studios have worked for so hard and for so long.

All the movie superheroes and characters under the MCU banner will feature in the movie. But the guy we are most excited about (apart from the Avengers themselves) is the Amazing Neighborhood Spiderman.

Tom Holland’s terrific portrayal of the Web-slinger from Queens in Spiderman: Homecoming has won the heart and soul of fans worldwide. The Kid was born for the role. Audiences were in complete awe when he first showed up in Captain America: Civil War. Spiderman: Homecoming was icing on the cake.

But MCU’s Peter Parker is not just going to stop making you shit your pants. Avengers: Infinity War will also see Spiderman do stuff that will keep you at the edge of the seat whenever he would enter the scene.

The trailer showed something really peculiar about Spiderman. He is fighting Thanos on the Giant Alien Ring but he is not wearing his regular suit. The suit he is wearing looks eerily similar to the Iron Spider suit from the comic books.

The Iron Spider suit was a gift from Tony Stark when Peter Parker lost his powers but still needed to be the Spiderman to protect the innocents.

The suit has extremely advanced technology that allows him to cling to walls, has three super strong spider-legs like tentacles, infrared vision, automatic life support systems, armor plating and a load of other cool techs. But most importantly, Spiderman looked way too cool while wearing the Iron Spider armor. The suit was the best gift anyone could ever have.

The Iron Spider Armor made its official debut in the MCU in Spiderman: Homecoming. Tony Stark offers Peter a position in the Avengers along with the Iron Spider armor as a token of gratitude for stopping the Vulture. Spidey declines the offer but the fans knew it won’t be the last time they saw the suit of armor on screen.

The Iron Spider armor resurfaced months later after the trailer of Infinity War took the internet by storm. Peter Parker is seen wearing the suit and fighting the Mad Titan head on in the trailer.

At the D-23 Expo, the first glimpses of an up-close look of the Iron Spider suit were revealed. Lego pieces of Spiderman showed the Iron Spider suit with his complete look in the expo. The suit had three appendages growing out of its back that are called Waldoes by Peter Parker in the comic books. Apart from allowing Peter to cling to surfaces and acts as extra arms, they also had mini-cameras at the end that allowed for surveillance.

Diehard fans are criticizing the move by Marvel to make Spiderman wear the Iron Spider suit so early on in the movies. The comics only showed Peter wearing the suit after realizing his arrogance had taken over him. His maturity and humility were key elements to the Iron Spider saga.

A catastrophic battle with Thanos lies ahead. Spiderman will need all the help he can muster. But the suit could be something too much too soon.

In the new set photos of Avengers Infinity War, the web-slinger was seen next to none other than Sorcerer Supreme aka Dr. Strange. They would team up against Thanos and protect New York from falling into ruin. When Holland was asked about this, he had this to say: “We’re good friends. We’re the Londoners and the New Yorkers.”

The director Joe Russo said:

“They both have a proximity to each other if that’s a hint that I can give. Anybody who’s a Marvel fan would know that they both reside in the same city, and I think Tom and Benedict have a really wonderful chemistry and we wanted to exploit that.”

Apart from Spiderman, several other superheroes are sporting new looks and equipment in several other promotional and merchandise arts. Thor will soon wield a new weapon in place of Mjolnir as it was destroyed by Hela in Thor: Ragnarok. The Jarnbjorn is a mythical axe forged from the same metal that Mjolnir was made from.

Iron Man is seen wearing a new suit that has reportedly powerful energy based close combat weaponry and powerful rocket propulsion systems that will probably help him as he fights Thanos in space. Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Ant-Man are all sporting new looks and suits for the upcoming movie.
