Avengers: Infinity War is almost on the horizon. The trailer came, saw, and conquered. Avengers: Infinity war trailer almost broke the internet in half. The fan hype was devastating. Internet servers were working over time. YouTube almost tore itself to pieces. Marvel Studios have done it again.
The scenes in the trailer are just breathtaking, epic and action-packed. In fact, some pundits are saying that the movie could even become the highest grossing ever given the massive reception it has received from Marvel fan community and comic-book lovers in general. It broke the all-time record for maximum viewings of a trailer in the first 24 hours of release.
We see Nomad Cap leading his new team of superheroes and warriors at Wakanda to prevent Black Order (Children of Thanos) from possibly getting their hands on the sixth Infinity Gem. Hulkbuster making a comeback, Spiderman donning Iron Spider suit, Thor meets Guardians of the Galaxy for the first time and Thanos is stealing Infinity stones one by one and is preparing for an all-out assault.
When Avengers came a few years back, a similar phenomenon was observed albeit at a much smaller level. With the Marvel Cinematic Universe a household name in each and every country, the hype is real.. Very, very real. All fans want is to see the movie already. WE WANT THE MOVIE ASAP!!!!
But it is not all roses and tulips. Avengers: Infinity War is going to create new boundaries for the Box Office. It will make the fans happy, no doubt about that. But it will also leave you crying and craving for tissues. The first five minutes of Avengers: Infinity War will have a scene so heartbreaking; it will cut your heart into two.
Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios confirms a massive plot point that is going to happen in the first 300 seconds of the movie Avengers: Infinity war.
The movie will see Earth’s mightiest heroes- Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, Captain America, Guardians of the Galaxy, the Hulk, Black Widow, Falcon, Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Spiderman and a plethora of other prominent superheroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe against the might of Thanos the Mad Titan and his eponymous loyalist super powered servants called the Black Order.
The battle will be decisive. But what pivotal plot points of Avengers: Infinity War will affect the MCU? What will happen in the first five minutes that might change the course of the heroes’ quest for peace and survival forever?
Feige appeared via video link at CCXP17 last weekend in the country of Brazil to shed some light on the matter. Fans kept teasing him and pressing him into telling some inside information that they could use to satiate their hunger until the real shit arrives. The fans pleading to the Marvel’s head worked.
Kevin Feige agreed to reveal an important plot point. Thanos is the greatest living weapon in his own arsenal. He is a champion of the universe and a supervillain in his own right. And the reason he is feared as the greatest villain of the Universe villain will be revealed right away.
The first five minutes will entail a scene with Thanos to explain the audience why exactly is the Mad Titan feared so much throughout the cosmos.
Here’s what he said:
“Well, it’s certainly the biggest movie we’ve ever made. It is still shooting, we’ve been shooting all year long and Josh Brolin is doing an amazing job of playing Thanos. You know, we’ve been teasing Thanos since the very first Avengers film. Remember the end of Avengers, the very end of the movie he turns around in the chair and you realize something bad is coming. We’ve been teasing him for years and the trick is when you tease something for that long you have to deliver. So, within the first five minutes of Infinity War people will understand why Thanos is the biggest and baddest villain in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
The Mad Titan has been teased throughout the MCU’s movies. Behind every cosmic move that creates death and destruction, saying Thanos is evil will be an understatement. He is not evil. He is THE evil!!! Ever since the infinity stones have started popping up throughout the MCU movies, Thanos’s presence and screen time are steadily increasing.
His final movie would be coming to earth and doing something extremely drastic and nefarious, to begin with. Right at the start of the movie, Thanos commits some kind of an atrocity to send chills down the viewers’ spines.
And he won’t be alone in this. Thanos will have help.
“He’s got some company,” Feige says. “He’s got some old faces that you’ll recognize. A certain brother of Thor might show up for a while with him and he has his own team called the Black Order which is a brand-new selection of villains. But really, Thanos doesn’t need much help. He can pretty much take care of it himself.”
At Disney’s D-23, the Black Order of Thanos (also known as Thanos Children) was revealed including Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian who was Black Dwarf.
On one hand, Thanos’ children Gamora and Nebula have rejected the overtures made by father, the Black Order is firmly behind Thanos all the way.
The Black Order made its first appearance in 2013’s New Avengers #8 created by Hickman and Mike Deodato Jr. These cosmic creatures were brought together by Thanos to serve as leaders in an inter-galactic campaign for universal domination.
It is impossible for only “The Black Order” to capture all worlds by themselves, so they created armies called “Outriders” who are genetically engineered for a single purpose, find new worlds, invade and conquer it for Thanos.
They followed the orders of Thanos and destroyed many worlds for him until they found out that Infinity Stones are with “The Illuminati”, a secret society/group with members like Iron Man, Black Panther etc. created to keep the Infinity gems safe.
The hype around Avengers Infinity War is real and is building up rapidly with new stuff coming out almost every week.
Marvel Studios has so far released three different official synopsis for Avengers Infinity War, read them below:
Synopsis 1:
“Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment”.
Synopsis 2:
“As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain”.
Synopsis 3:
“An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Russo brothers Anthony and Joe Russo are at the helm of the film, which is produced by Marvel boss Kevin Feige. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and God of Marvel comics Stan Lee are the executive producers. Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely have written the screenplay. Avengers Infinity War will hit the theaters on May 4, 2018.
