[Confirmed] Justice League Will Feature Two Post-Credit Scenes

The Justice League movie has a strong ensemble cast including Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder-woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher). The movie is directed by Zack Snyder and written by Chris Terrio based on the characters of DC comics. The story of Justice League will follow the events of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and mark the Phase 1 of DC Cinematic Universe. The movie will assemble the greatest DC superheroes under one roof against a terrifying adversary Steppenwolf.

At the end of the Batman v Superman, the Man of Steel was dead, while Batman and Wonder Woman had begun to assemble the Justice League, an elite team of superheroes to fight a supervillain Steppenwolf who has been awakened in the wake of events. The Steppenwolf is basically the military general of Darkseid who have sent parademons to interrogate/kidnap Batman and Earth’s scientists to retrieve Apokoliptian Motherbox which is the most powerful object in the realm.

The first reactions to the movie are already online and many critics and media figures are utilizing Twitter to share their initial reactions and opinions about DC’s mega-superhero team-up event. Along with the reactions, we’ve also got some more insights about the upcoming movie that includes the post-credit scenes:

There are many rumors indicating towards the introduction of Green Lantern Corps in one of the post-credit scenes which will set the stage for the next phase of villains in the upcoming DCEU movies.

Moreover, it seems that Justice League may add more to the overall narrative of DC movie universe. In the promos and TV spots, the battle between Earth and Apokolips, where Wonder Woman’s aunt can be seen slaughtering parademons but also there’s a strong possibility that her father Zeus himself may appear in the movie.

It is possible that we may see massive battle scenes including armies of mankind, Apokolips, the Amazons, the Atlanteans fighting for land and honor. The biggest question is given the run-time of Justice League, should it even consider bringing old gods into the narrative as Justice League itself is outlandish enough.

Earlier, there were reports circulating that the previous version was unwatchable and Joss Whedon has taken the knife to the script and completely changing the tone of the movie. The minor cuts turned into marathon shoots and there is also talk of giving co-direct credit to Joss Whedon since he has changed a lot of the movie.

Ben Affleck recently said that Justice League “is the product of two different directors” for which Joss Whedon will get a scripting credit for his efforts. It’s learned that much of the reshoots are concerned with how Ray Fisher’s character Cyborg would appear in the movie.

The character of Cyborg will be fundamentally different in the Justice League movie from what we know of him since the days of Teen Titan. Recently, Ray Fisher appeared at AsiaPOP Comic-Con in Manila, nobody was interested to know more about the film he was promoting i.e The Astronaut Wives Club. He spoke about Justice League and told ComicBook.com that this will be Cyborg of a new era. Here’s what he said:

“He’s a very real and grounded character and that’s something I found very interesting to bring to the table. I love the cartoon, but this is a different Cyborg, for a new era.”

The marketing campaign for Justice League has entered in its last leg and studio is leaving no stone unturned to create buzz around it. The last trailer featuring the entire Justice League kicking parademons’ ass was insanely awesome. The trailer began on a very somber note but soon entered into high-octane action arena as David Bowie’s “Heroes” tug heartstrings. But amidst all this, we saw the most devastating and terrifying power of Steppenwolf who is the big villain of the movie.

Well, he can apparently turn different life-forms into parademons as one of the warriors transformed into an evil being. From General Zod in Man of Steel to Ares in Wonder Woman, we have not seen anything like this. He is like Night King who can convert fallen men into white walkers.

Don’t worry if the movie follows the comic-book route, the Amazonians and Atlanteans will be able to repel Steppenwolf to be able to add thousands of parademons to his army. But humans will face the most number of casualties as they will be soft targets for Steppenwolf to recruit. Moreover, the Man of Steel is dead and could be resurrected in the latter half of the movie.

In DC comics, when Superman is buried and the entire Justice League attend his funeral, something insane happened…his grave was robbed. Can you believe it? It could be in the hands of organizations like Project Cadmus who wanted to clone him or individuals like The Eradicator whose purpose is to preserve Kryptonian culture. He must have stolen his body to take it to the fortress of solitude and place it on regeneration matrix that powers the Eradicator aka Last Son of Krypton.

Meanwhile, four imposters claiming to be real Man of Steel arrives namely Steel, Cyborg Superman, Superboy (Cadmus clone) and Last Son of Krypton. But then Superman bursts from regeneration matrix wearing a black suit killed Eradicator and finally able to reassert himself as the one true Superman. Let’s see what the movie does.

Till now, the center of attention has been Ben Affleck’s Batman as he is responsible for putting together an elite team of superheroes to protect the planet from the ultimate destruction. This was also reflected in the first line of the old synopsis.

Here’s the synopsis of JL:

“In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of meta-humans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions”.

Fans are hyped about Batman as he is getting plenty of new gadgets in the movie along with two new costumes. Well, according to the new reports, another one of his suits will also be there, so in total 3 Bat-suits are going to be featured in the movie. His first suit is a minor upgrade from his previous suit in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and a little more detailing and padding has been added to the suit and it looks even better than the previous one.

His second suit, called the ‘Tactical Armor’ has been heavily featured in the trailers of the movie. WB has even released Hot Toys of the suit featuring the tactical armor.

Each and every detail of the suit is visible and we can now make out why the suit is being called the Tactical Armor. It has much bigger and stronger padding on it which works as an offense and defense for Batman.

The extensive padding allows Batman to be bulletproof and take in brutal hits, whereas it helps him become more agile as his movement was pretty restricted in the mech suit that he wore in the previous movie against Superman. It also increases the strength and allows Batman to give more forceful blows upon his opponents. This is how he is able to fight against the Parademons who are much stronger than the usual thugs Batman takes on.

Well coming to the third one, it will be none other than the ‘mech suit’ itself. We all saw that he fought against Superman in that suit and don’t get your hopes really high, Bruce is not going to dawn his mech suit in Justice League, but it will still be featured in the movie.

The ‘Empire’ Magazine people got to tour the Batcave which we show up in Justice League as well and there they saw the Mech Suit was still placed over there. People would think that Batman would have thrown it away as it was almost completely destroyed during the epic battle against Superman. But while their tour, ‘Empire’ dropped a little bit of a Spoiler for the fans. Here is what they reported.

“We’re in the Batcave – or part of the Batcave – and everything’s suitably bleak and rocky. The specially modified Batsuit that was Batbattered by Superman towards the end of Dawn of Justice is on display, a permanent reminder to Bruce Wayne of the dangers of hubris”

But in the new synopsis, the role of Wonder Woman is shown to be prime. Here’s the new official synopsis:

“Once again, Wonder Woman must demonstrate her ability as a fierce warrior. Facing a great enemy, she and Batman join forces to recruit a group of meta-humans to stand against this newly awakened threat. Having formed an unprecedented League of heroes, they set out to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”
