The Secret of MCU’s Missing Infinity Stone Has Been Revealed

It’s been 10 years and 18 movies since Iron Man (2008) came out, and now MCU is approaching at the culmination of everything that has happened till now, as Kevin Feige puts it. Marvel Studios has managed to assemble a magnificent cast under one roof to create a mega comic-book event as part of phase 3. The Infinity war films are the most awaited superhero ensemble movies of the 21st century. Fans are ready to witness the grandest event called Infinity War. The secret of the Missing Infinity Stone has been revealed. So sit back and relax and enjoy the revelation.

Till now, the Mad Titan has been teased in Marvel movies in post-credits of Phase 2, 3 films, but Infinity war will be the first major project where he is going to be the central antagonist. Thanos will assemble the Infinity gauntlet that makes him the most dangerous cosmic creature who is hell-bent on destroying worlds.

Marvel Cinematic universe will systematically expand to over 70 comic-book characters who are likely to appear in Avengers Infinity War movies. The classic comic-book story is unlikely to change much where Thanos first identify where all the mind stones are and who is in possession of those. In Avengers 3, he will assemble all the stones and create an all-powerful Infinity gauntlet, cause a worldwide catastrophe and then in Avengers 4, the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy would join forces and fight the mad titan.

The Infinity Stones are the most powerful objects in the entire MCU. Power stone is purple in color and gives the user ability to access all forms of energy and boosts the power of other stones. It is on Nova Corps, the homeland of Xandar which will soon be stolen by Thanos.

Reality stone is the Aether from Thor: The Dark World, it has superlative mystical abilities, grants the user to make things happen that are otherwise impossible. It is ideally in the Collector’s vault but it could really be anywhere in the after of destruction of his museum.

Time stone is green in color and we will see it for the first time how it allows the user to control time. It’s very likely to be found in “Eye of Agamotto” in possession of Dr. Strange.

Mind stone is yellow in color when it’s used with power stone it allows the user to simultaneously track the minds of all beings in the galaxy and manipulate them at will. It is in Vision’s forehead and Thanos will come for it.

Space stone is the first Infinity stone, popularly known as Tesseract which allows you to be omnipresent and warp yourself in any part of the universe. It is orange in color (although it was shown in blue) and sits at the top of the fist. It is hopefully somewhere in Asgard under the safe protection of Heimdall.

But there is one Infinity stone which is still missing i.e soul stone. It is blue in color which gives the user the innate abilities to see across the entire universe. It is yet to be discovered.

It is almost confirmed that it will be revealed in upcoming Thor: Ragnarok as it will directly lead into the Avengers Infinity War.

The latest trailer of the movie shown at D23 may have answered some of the major questions we all have. According to reports, it begins with Guardians of the Galaxy finding Thor floating in space unconscious without a space suit, Thor asks them about their identities.

We know that Thor and Gladiator Hulk will battle it out in the arena, but they would manage to escape and go on a “cosmic road-trip”. This suggests that their plans to save Asgard from Hela’s forces may have gone horribly wrong.

According to a theory, we may see more than one version of Hela in the movie. The other version has escaped prison and is a far cry from a glorious Goddess of Death that she is shown in the trailers and images. She managed to stop Thor’s hammer midway before it is shattered into pieces. These are final moments of Hela’s transformation which restored her powers over souls.

But what made Thor throw a hammer at her? How could she stop it? Well, Hela’s crusade against Asgardians, destroying entire creation and stop Mjolnir can only be explained by an Infinity stone. But how did she get it? I guess we will find out.
