9 Upcoming Marvel TV Shows We Are Really Excited For

Marvel TV shows have reached new heights and the Marvel Cinematic Universe has expanded itself everywhere. Ever since Agents of SHIELD started in 2013, Marvel has come a long way and the TV universe has actually established almost as many characters as the movies have. Here is a list of the Upcoming MCU TV shows we need to look forward to.

Inhumans

This is the most recent development of Marvel and it will air from 29th September 2017. The first two episodes of the show even got an Imax release, and even though the reviews for the show are not as good as they are usually, that does not mean that the rest of the season cannot take off from a down low. The show is going to feature the Royal Inhuman family who has been living in hiding on the moon.

The Punisher

The next series which is scheduled for a Netflix release is the most anticipated upcoming Netflix project. The Punisher is going to portray Frank Castle’s journey of becoming the Punisher after he lost his family. The show will be released on Netflix in November and Jon Bernthal is going to play the brutal character we love. The show is also said to bring in a new Superhero the same way Punisher was brought in Daredevil Season 2.

Marvel’s The Runaways

Every teenager thinks their parents are evil. What if you found out they actually were? “Marvel’s Runaways” is the story of six diverse teenagers who can barely stand each other but who must unite against a common foe–their parents. The show is going to Air on “Hulu” network and it will air on 21st November 2017.

Agents of SHIELD S05

The fifth and probably the last season of the show will be returning in January on the ABC network. It will be influenced by the Inhumans TV show and Phil Coulson and the team will open the suspense of what exactly happened at the end of the 4th season as we find them all to be in space.

Cloak and Dagger

The trailer for this upcoming show was really awesome and it is going to be something different from what we have seen till now. This is the story of Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson – two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another. The show air sometime in early 2018.

The second Jessica Jones season is currently under production and it is going to bring back one of the best Marvel Villains – Kilgrave! The show will run its regular 13 episode course and will explore the story of our favourite private detective from where it left at the end of The Defenders. This time around Kilgrave would not just haunt Jessica, he is also going to haunt her best for Malcolm. The release date for the show is currently unknown but as it will be the first Netflix show to be released in 2018, it seems that it will take on the March release date that Marvel Netflix prefers.

Luke Cage S02

Luke Cage season 2 just started production and it is going to explore the story of Luke Cage further and it will show how Mariah Dillard will be taken out of power. ‘Shades’ is supposed to return along with Claire Temple.
