10 Best Leaders Of The Avengers Ranked From Bottom To Top

DC Might have the Justice League, the Marvel Universe sure have their Avengers. Doing what they do best, this team of superheroes has saved more than a few times to be subtle. But the leadership of the team hasn’t always been under one person. So here we bring you the 10 best leaders of the Avengers, ranked:

Havok

Yeah, it hasn’t been a joy ride for Alex Summers, the younger brother of Scott Summers aka Cyclops, who was always number two in whatever he did. Be it becoming a mutant, joining the X-Men or leading the X-Force, but it changed when Cyclops turned to the dark side and it was Havok who now was the leader of the Avengers.

Black Widow

Natasha Romanoff sure has had a troubled time leading the Avengers. Nope its not that she isn’t capable enough, but because the times during her leadership were troubled in general. Be it the “Onslaught saga” or “The Crossing”, at all these times she lead the team well, but well, shit happened.

Vision

Vision became the leader of the Avengers in the ‘80s, but it wasn’t just because he wanted to rather because his team was kidnapped. In the beginning he did a fantastic job, but call it performance pressure or whatever, he lost it after a point that he wanted to control all humans, yep he became somewhat of an Ultron himself.

Hank Pym

Believe it or not, Pym is one of the founding members of the Avengers. Though he is one of the most fucked up superheroes, he has had some good times with the team too. He was one of the few people who thought if giving it back to Norman Osborn during ‘Secret Invasion’, but Pym being Pym, he has been kicked out of the team too.

Luke Cage

Luke Cage is one of those few superheroes who always get respect, this is because of his righteous and stoic nature. Cage just came into the team in 2005, but since then he has lead the team more than once. Once he had to pass the leadership of the Avengers to Hawkeye, those were really difficult times, but there is no denying the fact that Cage is a strong willed and a motivated leader.

Hawkeye

One of the founding members of the West Coast Avengers, Hawkeye sure is someone on whom the team can bank upon. He has lead the team more than a few times and has done a tremendous job, the big mouth Archer is someone who has got the team out of a lot troubled times more than once.

Iron Man

Tony Stark was the original leader and the founder of the Avengers. Having given the team billions of dollars, his helpful butler Jarvis, the technology, Quinn Jets and what not. He sure was once a great leader, but in Civil War then, somewhat betrayed half of his team. Not just that once he was also imprisoned and even kicked out of the team.

Captain Marvel

Carol Danvers is someone who gained a lot of popularity during and after the events of Civil War. She was the leader of the Mighty Avengers, and didn’t even think twice while taking her squad against the ever so powerful Iron Man. It could be highly debatable if what she id was right or wrong, but still the girl’s got power, and this fact is accepted by all. Also, she can pack one hell of a punch and run a squad really well.

The Wasp

Janet was one of the first members of the Avengers. The only girl in the all boy’s club when gave her name to be the next leader of the Avengers, she was backed by the trio, that is Captain America, Thor as well as Iron Man, to take over as the next person in charge. While in her tenure, she saw to it that more and more females got a chance to get into the team.

Captain America

avengers

Of course you all knew that he was going to be on the number one spot. Cap is someone who neither has any “super powers” nor was he even one of the original Avengers, but still whenever one thinks of the term, Avengers it is Captain America, whose face comes to everyone commanding them in a strong voice, saying “Avengers, Assemble”.
